In the shadows of Japan, an underground crime syndicate exists - one which its true origin and purpose remains a mystery to even its members. Despite this mystery, its members have sworn loyalty to their Boss who also remains unseen and unheard, and the only trace to secure their existence lies in a text message or an email away. While the syndicates primary goals remain unknown to lower-ranked members, higher-ranked members are skilled assassins and notorious criminals; drug and arm dealers; computer scientists and scientists in various fields.
Nearly decades ago in America, the FBI and CIA managed to discover the syndicates existence and their goal is to infiltrate and destroy them. Some agents have managed to secure their place in the syndicate as they were given an alcohol beverage codename, courtesy of their high-ranking status. And despite newer agents traveling to Japan months ago, the ongoing furtive war remains unseen to the Japanese public and government eye.
With the Japanese government unaware of the syndicate, anarchy arises amongst civilians who long to seek vengeance on their wrongers. The Japanese police force has found themselves busier than ever with mundane criminal activities such as murders, robberies, kidnapping to bombing attempts. While detectives might find themselves to be in their prime, even courtrooms have managed to gain some popularity. Needless to say, civilians have managed to start their own war and the media is livelier today than it ever was. And while some have managed to live a mundane lifestyle, not everybody has succeeded. Now the question is despite all of this, what is your lifestyle choice?
