"Someone call for an ass-kicking?!"
CHARACTER NAME: Aizo Yun Feng
RACE: Human
CLASS: Demon Weapon
AGE: 17
GENDER: Male
APPEARANCE:
His apparel is often his common one, with multiple outfits of the same style that reflect desire to represent both his teacher and his homeland. He rarely wears anything but his fighting gear in public. His clothing is fairly simple, or at least to him.. With baggy leggings and a tight fitting sleeveless shirt with front and back extensions, fastened together by simple front buckles. He wears two finger gloves with attached wristbands which go as far as the elbow, and anything from sandles to simple shoes for foot-wear. One of his key pieces of apparel are his roller-blades, simple in design though quite commonly used, Rocket's dedicated hobby allows him to use them over terrain which to others would be difficult, making them an obvious choice for travel. Though he rarely changes his apparel, he also has an extended shirt as well as a casual set of clothing, used when he feels he should blend in.
This apparel consists of baggy denim jeans with multiple pockets with rivets upon them. On his torso, Rocket wears a simple black T-shirt which carries a rock and roll motif upon it. On top of this, the demon weapon wears a sleevless red jacket, which has dragon patterns on its lower regions and on the hood. This outfit is less cumbersome than his usual attire, and so Rocket also uses it for the more active things he does, such as missions. [/ul]

WEAPON FORM(S):
Rocket is a demon weapon, his weapon form being that of an axe guitar. The axe guitar is a twisted combination of the battle axe, and the Les Paul Gibson electric guitar. Rocket's weapon form is actually quite light, seeing as the axe guitar does away with most of the cumbersome innards of a normal six string. On either side of the main body of the guitar are two sharp blades, which, true to their original purpose, are as sharp as any axe. A small spike protrudes from the end of the guitar's body, but does not reach out further than the tips of the curved blades. The guitar doesn't detune, unless it is being wielded by an unsuitable meister. In that case, earmuffs are advised.[/ul]
ABILITIES:
TYPE: Passive
STRENGTH: Average
KEYWORDS: improved strength, improved speed
DESCRIPTION:
This character has undergone special training and conditioning to improve themselves physically, surpassing what are generally considered the limits of the human body in terms of strength, speed, agility, reflexes, and reaction time. However, this is really just the tip of the iceberg; on the scale of super-human attributes this character's abilities rank at 2, maybe 3, out of 10. Examples from Soul Eater include Maka Albarn, Soul Eater Evans, and the Thompson Sisters.
ABILITY NAME: Partial Transformation: Martial Arts Mayhem
TYPE: Active
STRENGTH: Average
KEYWORDS: blades, melee, partial transformation
DESCRIPTION:
Like all demon weapons, Rocket is able to transform partially. In his iteration of the skill, the axe blades of his axe guitar are invoked on either his forearms or the backs of his shins. An odd placement, perhaps, but they go with his kung fu training splendidly.
ABILITY NAME: Partial Transformation: Wicked Awesome Solo
TYPE: Active
STRENGTH: Average
KEYWORDS: partial transformation, musical, self
DESCRIPTION:
Rocket has a second partial transformation ability; this one taking the form of him materialising the axe guitar from his wrist. This leaves both hands free to actually play the guitar, and by amplifying the sound with his soul wavelength, can turn this technique into a viable offensive tactic.
ABILITY NAME: The Power of Rock;; Blow Them Away With Bass!
TYPE: Active
STRENGTH: Strong
KEYWORDS: sonic blast, ranged, concussive blast
DESCRIPTION:
Utilising his second transformation, Rocket plays a guitar riff. He uses his soul wavelength to amplify the sound to such levels that a concussive blast of soul wavelength-enhanced sound is released. This travels in a linear fashion, with a conical range, meaning that it is at its most powerful when the target is at mid-range. At this level, the sound can temporarily deafen others and blow back objects weighing less than 50kg a few metres. Rocket must be wearing noise-reducing headphones or other such hearing protectors, or he will be affected too.
[/ul]
EQUIPMENT:
TYPE: Item
STRENGTH: Strong
DESCRIPTION:
The Fender Combo Amp is a powerful amplification device used for making things louder. Rocket loves nothing more than plugging himself in (which is an epic sensation in itself) and letting loose on his strings. It has been mechanically amplified to literally go "to eleven"; an undefined level that to describe as unsafe would be an understatement. That doesn't stop Rocket from using it though...[/ul]
VEHICLES:
TYPE: Ground
CLASS: Civilian
PROTECTION: Weak
VEHICLE EQUIPMENT: None
DESCRIPTION: The Kawasaki Ninja ZX14 is a high-end motorbike Rocket purchased with the funding he received for being a gymnast. It hasn't got any special features, apart from the fact that it is still in mint condition while in the demon weapon's possession. He cares obssesively over the motorbike, and if one little scratch got on it... It doesn't bear thinking about.
VEHICLE NAME: Rollerblades
TYPE: Ground
CLASS: Civilian
PROTECTION: Weak
VEHICLE EQUIPMENT: None
DESCRIPTION:
Rocket's rollerblades are top of the line, black and chrome finished pieces of art. They aren't just a cool and retro way of getting around, they're a "masterclass on how to make things that rock!" Another small miracle, in that they are still in working condition despite the years.[/ul]

PERSONALITY:
Most jerkasses have a heart of gold. For Rocket...this is not the case. Sure, some of the blame can be put in the TV that filters through to China, for that surely influenced him, but to tell the truth Rocket loves to act how he does. He's anti-authoritarian, anti-traditionalist, and anti-whatever else you want to name him, if only because he feels that your labels aren't good enough for someone of his grandeur. Simply put, Rocket is someone who will only live life on his terms, which, at a base level, is an admirable trait. However, Rocket has taken this to extreme lengths. If you try to change him, or do anything he perceives as trying to change him, then he will go into a mad rant which doesn't end until your ears are bleeding. He has a notoriously short temper, with rage being one of the few emotions he openly displays. This can be blamed on his less than easy childhood, and really his tantrums are just his way of venting his frustration at his parents and everyone else he cared to remember from his past life.
Like all people, Rocket is basically good. Well...he'd rather fight for the heroes than the villains, at any rate. His loyalties lie wherever the hell he says they do, and the most consistent answer he will give when asked is "To myself, and to rock." Indeed, going along with his idolisation of the ideals of western TV, Rocket is an avid rock music fan. Revelling in the surreal and angry tones of Enter Shikari, and other bands like 30 Seconds to Mars and Foster the People. Classic rock like Nirvana and Slipnot sit well with him too. He's also partial to a little Tempa T now and again. Rocket can actually get rather defensive about his tastes in music, taking an instant dislike to those that have differing opinions to him about it, especially those who dislike rock.
Rocket Fuerza will only assosciate with those he deems cool. To him, cool is quite an extensive list of criteria, which includes "not giving a damn" and "loves rock". Despite his rather deplorable traits, Rocket is not above admitting respect or admiration for someone.
In regards to Kishin eggs, Rocket delights in ending them. In his opinion, they're the reason that he had to leave China and his past life. If it weren't for the Kishins, Rocket would still be Aizo Yun Feng, Olympic gymnast hopeful. And so, there is nary a time when a sadistic smile is absent from his face when dealing with such people. In his opinion, they all need to be hunted down and killed as brutally as the person whose life they ended in order to start their journey. Another factor in his enjoyment of killing kishin eggs is that he is an extremophile. Not in the biological sense -- extreme conditions do not sit well with him -- but in the sense that anything that invokes a sense where one is acting on instinct and adrenalin alone is very attractive to him. He loves extreme things. Going up against a kishin alone is something that he considers very extreme indeed. And the prospect of having to take down a witch...be it alone, or with a partner, he simply can't wait for that day to come.[/ul]
HISTORY:
The same day she bought the TV, Sakura Yun Feng was murdered. She carried the box into the house, and had just gone outside again to thank her friend, whom had driven them both to the store with her car (the Fengs didn't have one of their own), when a police car pursuing a robber mowed her down where she stood. She should have looked, they said. The police were not sympathetic. Neither was Shiro. Aizo could only watch on in despair as the first and only person he'd ever truly loved in his life moved on. The inquiry into Sakura's death was shortlived. The police weren't interested in someone who had, in their eyes, impeded the execution of the law. That incident spawned the little seed of hate in Aizo's heart; the first taint on his once pure heart.
He watched the TV incessantly from that day forth, as if doing so would bring his mother back. The only shows he watched were non-Chinese ones; the goverment was a corrupt and evil force of people who didn't care who died as long as they got their filthy paycheck, in Aizo's view. Anything to do with establishment was a waste of time and effort, and those in formalised businesses could all go to hell for all he cared. In his mind, the policemen who ran down his mother were either kishins, or kishin eggs anyway. The only other TV that he would allow to be watched was what filtered in from America -- and wasn't blocked by the government. The result was a little boy's mind being filled with a skewed perception of a good time, and life in general. Aizo began to lead more and more of an "American" lifestyle, growing irreverent and disrespectful towards most of the people around him. For seven years Aizo did little else. His grades fell, and didn't look like picking up. His father beat him more and more often, but over the years Aizo began to fight back more and more successfully. Their relationship degenerated into nothing but physical spats interspersed with one cursing the other. Shiro couldn't handle the loss of his wife. Aizo couldn't handle the loss of his mother. They blamed each other.
Aizo continued going to gymnastics, and rollerblading, in his mother's memory. He actually became quite good. Really good. Good enough that the Chinese government entered him into their olympics program. Good enough that he became sponsered. The Yun Fengs received monthly paychecks of a small fortune; Aizo kept 40%, the rest was split between his father and those that invested in him. In a matter of months, Aizo went from a thirteen year old mourning the loss of his mother, to a thirteen year old looking at dominating the world stage. Of course, he was aware of the corruption, but he was a kid. Money and things easily superseded his morals.
For once, in a twisted sort of way, things were looking up.
But joy never lasts. It's why it's such a refreshing feeling. Shiro Yun Feng was out late one night, while Aizo was at home, watching TV as per usual. Despite the wealth he'd come into, he still didn't replace the TV his mother had bought all those years ago. What he had done, was install a Sky+ box. Unfortunately, his father had decided that Mortal Kombat: The Movie wasn't suitable for his child to watch, and had changed the passcode and had locked it. In searching the house for the new password, Aizo broke into his father's desk. In it, he found a series of documents, each detailing bets on gymnastics fixtures that the demon weapon had been involved in. In each one he had won, a stamp and a sum of money was recorded. In each one he had lost, a stamp and a sum of money was recorded. They were betting records. His own father was exploiting him. All those times he had thought the judging had been biased, especially when he excelled on that pommel horse...he'd been right! Rage coursed through his veins, and fueled him, kept him fuming, even when his father returned. The moment Shiro entered through the door, Aizo was right up in his face, screaming until he was horse. He punched and kicked and scratched, forgetting that he was a heavily muscled adolescent who was well versed in kung fu. Shiro was a battered heap on the floor by the time he was finished with him. That red stuff around his body wasn't some novelty alcohol.
It was that night Aizo discovered he was a demon weapon.
Aizo can still remember the horror that filled his body when he looked down and saw the blade edges on his arms. It was only in the safety of the aeroplane toilets that he felt comfortable enough to check himself...Yes, he had called the emergency services, taken all the money his father had stashed up, and fled; hailing a cab to the airport and flying to America. He had been considering running away for some time now, but this was just an excuse to get away from the dread of reality. In the airport itself Aizo had spent most of his father's money on a fake passport; one that changed his name to Rocket Fuerza. It turns out that holding a blade's edge to a man's neck made them work a lot faster.
And so, at 15, Rocket Fuerza found himself in Death City, Nevada. Alone. Luckily, Shibusen was the perfect place for people like him. They didn't ask too many questions, just holed him up in a room on the grounds despite his protests, and he started his education almost immediately. For two years Rocket honed his skills as a demon weapon, discovering that he was a demon axe-guitar in his full form, and generally abusing his love for rock in a way that allowed him to kick arse. He let loose, and, for the first time in his life, no one seemed to mind too much. A motorbike and a wild haircut later, Rocket started, ever so slowly, to get settled down...[/ul]

O Agile;; Having trained as a gymnast for most of his life, Rocket is a talented one, and as such is very flexible and agile. He is able to perform flips and other such stunts with ease.[/ul]
O Durable;; Having learned kung fu along side gymnastics for his own safety, Rocket has learned to deal with pain. He's pretty tough, being able to take hits as well as dish them out.
O Strength;; If his chisled muscles don't say it, then nothing does. Rocket is very strong for his age, being able to smash through most things with brute force alone.
O Martial Arts;; Rocket was formally trained in kung fu, having attained an orange belt before his life went topsy turvey. Still, it's enough to defeat many unsuspecting enemies.
O Dim-witted;; Rocket isn't too bright, and as such it is very easy to trick him. Most of his plans aren't too well thought out either, and due to his agressive attitude, he often gets people to go along with them, something that, more often than not, is dangerous.[/ul]
O Hearing;; Many a time Rocket has forgotten to put on his headphones while playing his guitar partial transformation. As a result, his hearing isn't the best, which makes it easier for people to sneak up on him.
O Haemophilia;; While it is admittedly difficult to do so, drawing Rocket's blood can prove fatal. The demon axe guitar has haemophilia, meaning that his blood doesn't clot as easily as it should. Without medical attention, one nasty gash could spell the end of him.
O Slow;; Muscle weighs more than fat. Rocket carries a fair bit of muscle around, and as a result his speed is reduced. Most people his age would be able to beat him in a race, at any rate; much to his chagrin.
