CHARACTER NAME:
Milo Fletcher
RACE:
Human
CLASS:
Demon Weapon
ADVANCED CLASS:
DeathScythe / Chemistry Professor
AGE:
23
GENDER:
Male
APPEARANCE:
Milo stands at around 5 foot 11, smaller then some of his students, but yet he isn't exactly on the 'vertically challenged' side. Riding on his Segway his heigh increases to around 6 foot 2, which, apart from sheer laziness, is probably one of the reason you never see him off the damn thing. He doesn't weight a lot either and is extreme light and thin weighing about 70kg. His hair is light brown, verging on the ginger end of the spectrum in the sun. It isn't cut to short and nor too long, but despite his age still retains that boyish look and youthfulness he had back when he was a mere student at the Academy. His eyes are a dullish brown, but normally brighten up, turning lighter and more orange in the light, sometimes matching his hair. He has to wear a pair of glasses, as his eye sight it atrocious at best. He takes a fond liking to his bright orange ones. Break them, and he'll chase you around on dat Segway.
The Shibusen Teacher seems to carry himself with some form of confidence, although not at all cocky, even when zipping about on his Segway as fast as he can. He has that look about about him that could easily make you think he was mad every now and then. Normally seen with a grin on his smug face, its not very often you see him frown outside of class. Then again that isn't rare in a Shibusen Teacher. Its not rare to mistake him for a Student still, either. He dresses smart, or as smart as he like, normally favouring a black suit even in the hot weather of the Nevada, with a white shirt underneath and white shoes also. He can normally be seen sporting a set of headphones, though never actually on, the reason he wears them is a mystery, or maybe its just to look 'cool'.
He is thin and flexible but has no strength what's so ever and well as being afraid of most things that Shibusen Students and Teacher should be used to. However, he makes up for these flaws with his speed and intelligence, and general strategic planning. Coming from Florida, he has a fair tan and after long times in the desert can come back very brown. He doesn't tend to burn either. When he does walk he tends to skip a little, and has a habit of waving to random people/students and smiling, and although its all in good nature, it can be misinterpreted, sometimes causing less then fit rumours to float about the school.

ABILITIES:
Partial Transformation
TYPE:
Active
STRENGTH:
Average
KEYWORDS:
Partial, Weapon, Finger, Shock, Electrodes, Stun
DESCRIPTION:
In Partial Transformation, there doesn't seem to be much change in Milo's Physical Appearance. In fact, there's absolutely none at all. The tips of his index and 'little' finger on his right hand home electrodes under the skin, and when used properly, he can exert his own wavelength into an electric shock. Given, its much weaker then with a Meister, it can still slightly daze if anything. He normally uses this as a form of 'discipline' in the class room, if possible, or just playing pranks on the other Staff members, Students and normal folk alike.
ABILITY NAME:
Flexi-Soul
TYPE:
Passive
STRENGTH:
Strong
KEYWORDS:
Soul Type, Wavelength, Meister, Compatibility
DESCRIPTION:
Much like the Wavelength of Excalibur, Milo's Soul is very easy to Resonate and match soul wavelengths with. Due to this, he can be paired with anyone if need be, even if they've never met before. However, there is one downside. Once again, much like Excalibur, putting up with him is the trick. A Meister may be able to Resonate with him no problem, but if he just can't stick him then there's no way its going to work. Although he isn't anywhere near as annoying as Excalibur, it can make long-term partnerships a bit of a problem.
ABILITY NAME:
(Danger, Danger) High Voltage
TYPE:
Active
STRENGTH:
Resonance
KEYWORDS:
Resonance, Ranged (sorta), Electricity, Distance (sorta)
DESCRIPTION:
As a Deathscythe with a Flexible Soul, Milo can perform a Resonance with most, if not all Meisters. This is one of them. By Resonating Soul wavelengths, Milo's Weapon form goes from the standard voltage of a Tazer to almost three times that of a average Tazer. It creates a whip like tail of bright blue electricity, that can be used to both tangle and shock an enemy to the nth degree. Depending on the strength and will of an opponent, this move can do anything up to paralyse them for a short while.
It can also be used close up. If the Resonance if produced while the front end of the Tazer is directly in contact with something/one then the voltage will be sent through that object, should it be a metal structure or a person. Of course, using this close up does more damage then further away, but increasing the risk of the Meister getting electrocuted with mega volts also.
The Resonance can last up to 5 posts (each) with a 10 post cool-down before it can be reused and can be used up to 3 times in a single mission. It after effects can be numbness, dizziness, nausea and/or headaches for both Weapon, Mesiter....and Victim.
ABILITY NAME:
Electric Boogaloo
TYPE:
Active
STRENGTH:
Resonance
KEYWORDS:
Resonance, Electricity, Distance, Charge
DESCRIPTION:
Another Resonance he can perform, the aptly named 'Electric Boogaloo', is a rather spectacular sight if your not being shocked by it. For this to work well it is advised (for the Meisters own Health) that the Taser be held out above your head or to the side. While the two wavelengths interact, some small amount of it is charged up with electricity and sent out into the air in a 20 foot radius in every direction, creating a dome (at the moment it is invisible). It is advised the Taser be held at arms length because a second inner dome in created around the Meister and weapon to avoid them from being injured by the attack. At this time you won't see anything, but you will hear a high pitched cracking or squealing noise.
It takes around 10 seconds to charge (or one post). When ready, Milo likes to snap his fingers purely for, as he called it, 'dramatic effect', at which point the charge wavelength shoots itself into electrodes in the air, filling the set dome with a constant, super powerful electric charge. As soon as the reaction starts, a burst of color spreads from the 'ignition point' (Milo) Looking something like this. The amount the target is effected depends on how big it is, how suborn it is, and how far into the field it is. The main Resonance reaction takes one post also with an 8 post cool down (8 posts with Milo), and can be used any amount of times. Though that depends on the Meister Stomach, as the side effects of this are nausea and a rather weird looking hair do. The effects on Milo however, are next to none, apart from a light headache.

EQUIPMENT:
VEHICLES:
Segway
TYPE:
Ground
CLASS:
Civilian
PROTECTION:
VEHICLE EQUIPMENT:
None
DESCRIPTION:
Probably one of the most AWESOME modes of transportation since Rollerblades, the chances of seeing Milo without his beloved Segway is next to nil. This little piece of lazy can go anywhere up to 12.5mph, if given enough open room. Its quite versatile, only ever being challenged by stairs. It is powered by an electric motor, and it's speed and direction is determined by how much Milo decides to lean forward and which way the handle bars are turned. The Segway uses gyroscopic sensors and fluid-based leveling sensors to detect how much it is leaning forward or backwards, and uses this to keep itself upright. [/size]

PERSONALITY:
Milo is a wild character, for starters. Excitable and hyper, but never seems to actually get on his feet and do anything. He is normally happy and bubbly, not one to be seen with a frown at any time. He could have been considered a regular student at the Academy, had he not ploughed through enough Meister's to last a few generations. He doesn't tend to shut up and he like to express his views often with no regard of the people around him. He can change the subject of conversations quickly and without effort, which can leave people confused, annoyed and irritated, yet he himself still manages a smile. Not a lot can get him down or make him miserable. Even when he was a Student, and his Meister's left him because they simple couldn't stand, him he would shrug it off and carry on. Though that part could either be admirable or worrying depending on your point of view. A sucker for coffee, he is never seen without on around the school ground. This probably has something to do with his hyper and excitable nature, the caffeine can't do him any good.
In class he is just as random, but he tends to stick to topic a lot more, which is probably the only thing keeping him the job. He is a Chemistry whiz and always has been. He takes a fondness to blowing things up randomly, in and around the school. If students misbehave they get a prompt electric shock, before he carries on, smiling as he does so. He is never seen without his Segway and Student and Teachers alike left to wonder how he gets up Shibusen's grand stairway in the mornings. Which is also why, if he can't reach a student in the high tier of the class desks, he'll throw a book at them. Or something similar, anyway. He doesn't take an awful lot of notice for the Health and Safety Guidelines either. He works as a Chemistry Professor at Shibusen because it was probably the only school that would let him do crazy experiments. Or at least not take notice of it unless some poor kid got injured.
Milo doesn't like to think he picks favourites in his classes, but if they share his same love for blowing shit up then he finds it hard not to favourite people. He doesn't like getting into many fights and will drive his Segway as fast as it will go in the opposite direction. On mission when he was attending the Academy, Missions consisted of one of three things. Screaming, complaining to laughing. He's never been one for fighting or violence, which is why he is glad he's a weapon, and a weapon that doesn't involve much blood. The sight of blood can make him feel faint and nauseous, and he has a bit of a weak stomach.
Since he was young boy, Milo has had a thing for things that go boom and old video games. He tries the newer games but he doesn't think they have as much charm as they used to, and can rarely find a game worth his time any more. He isn't very good with women, as he tends to either get very flustered (due to his lack of interaction with the opposite sex as a child), or doesn't really acknowledge them in that way, normally just acting like his nerdy self, talking about Science and the likes off. Thus why he has never had a girlfriend.
HISTORY:
Milo grew up in Florida, and has always been a bit of a outcast in society, pretty much keeping himself to himself while he was younger when he was nothing special, just a nerd with a brain for Science and a fondness of old games. He was always that one kid who pretty much stayed out of sight and out of mind, and was normally taunted out of the other kid boredom. Not that Milo was the kind to take too much notice. From his first days at school he found it hard to really make friends, but was a little too naive to really notice they didn't like him. He was that one persistent child that just couldn't get the message that no one liked him that much, no matter how straight up with him you were. He was also very much a mama's boy, well behaved and followed them everywhere. Sometimes it was like his parents were the only people to really care for him. He seldom managed to make many friends, and during his school years only ever had one true friends, who was very similar to him.
The two met when Milo was 7, and Sam (who preferred to be called Sammy) became a new edition to his class. They didn't get on straight away, per-say, and if anything for a while hated each others guts. Sammy was the first person Milo ever hated, and the first real friend he had, to. The two would fight constantly, verbally and physically, however, Milo always lost to him, being the softer of heart out of the two. It went on like this for a couple of months. It only took one day for all that to change really. It was also the day Sammy went down in the pecking order. All because of one video game. The one Milo had over heard Sammy talking about, and then other people laughing at him for being such a geek. It was great for Milo, because it meant, despite how much they seemed to hate each other, they had something in common. The love of Video Games. Or, further more, a love of Chrono Trigger, which came out that year.
After that the two were like brothers to each other. It was just those two and on one else. They could ramble about games and other sorts of things for hours, sometimes not really sure what they were talking about, but it was fun all the same. People left them to their own now there was more then one freak in the class, no one really bothered with them. The pair were great friends all the way into High School, and as a Chemistry Wizz and Maths Genius, they stayed the freaks that no one talked to, and honestly, they liked it that way. They may have made few other good friends, but Milo and Sammy were stuck like glue, even if they did still piss each other off sometimes. They did tend to fight, but that normally ended with as much laughter as their was blood as broken glasses. His parents didn't like that very much but were glad that he's managed to make such a good friends. As they got older then tended to like games like Wasteland, often comparing the game to the Fallout series as an unofficial sequel.
Needless to say, however, Sammy was much more of the rebel type then Milo was, who seemed to stay in his shadow a lot. That didn't really seem to make a difference though. The only thing that seemed to wear off on them, was Milo and the fact he was a weapon that seemed to separate them. When Milo happened to find out he was a weapon (by accentually overloading his PC with electricity) and had discussed it with his parents, he told Sammy right away. At first Sammy was happy for him, but as time went on it seemed to change him. Milo would be moved into Shibusen, unable to take Sammy with him. Because he was a weapon, a Taser, it was like he was suddenly 'destined' for great things, helping defeat all of the evil in the world and making a difference. No matter how close their friendship may have been, Sammy grew jealous of Milo, and after a few months after him moving to Shibusen, Sammy refused any contact from him. They haven't spoken in ten years. (Milo came to the Academy at the age of 13)
For a while it did upset Milo, and it got him down for sure, still, there was no dwelling on it as the young boy set off to find a Meister! It wasn't that hard...on some levels. He could be wielded by anyone, and used by them. The Teachers had hope for someone with a flexible soul wavelength. Of course they didn't realise this came with Excalibur like down sides as well. After any amount of time Milo became annoying. Really annoying. He wasn't fond of fighting, all he talked about were games and Science. It seemed he was an outcast amongst the outcasted, it seemed like. After a year of school he did at last find a Meister who was patient enough to wield him, and could put up with him, a older boy called Alex. In a way, he was like Sammy, but Milo didn't always feel like anyone could replace him.
Throughout his school career, he pulled many a prank in and around Shibusen, getting him detentions, but always managing to do well in Missions enough to keep him from getting kicked out. Alex rarely joined in, but found his ventures rather amusing. Normally being the first to congratulate him on once again destroying the toilets. The two stayed a team right to the end, Alex turned Milo into a DeathScythe, and left to do Shibusens work elsewhere in the world while Milo headed home to see if he could find Sammy again. In fact, he did find his old friend, and it was safe to say he wasn't very happy to see him, stricken with jealously which Milo didn't understand, but he knew enough to know that Sammy wanted nothing more to do with him.
With nothing better to do, and a love of everything explosive, Milo entered the school a few years later, after trying to find something in life that he found fun, with no success. Now he's teaching Science in Shibusen as a way of making a living, residing in Death City. He is strangely content with his 'simple' life, but is still as irritating as ever.
