MAIN USERNAME: nageki
Color Code: white
CHARACTER NAME: Iris Walker
RACE: Human
CLASS: Exorcist Agent
AGE: 19
GENDER: Female
Standing around 5'8", Iris is a slender, pale Caucasian girl with cold gray eyes and a small bust. She has short, strait black hair that comes down just past her shoulders in the back and has past eye-length bangs in the front. Her clothing varies from day to day, but she is almost always wearing her black jacket and black fingerless gloves. She typically wears t-shirts and jeans as her normal attire, but sometimes switches up for dresses on top with jeans underneath. In summertime she'll wear tanktops and shorts. She also has a habit of wearing extra black leather belts around her waist for style's sake, as well as around her legs. Her footware is always white tennis shoes.
Although it drives her crazy, when she's on assignment outside the Exorcist HQ she does wear their uniform. She skirts this regulation whenever she feels like she can get away with it, typically by still wearing her black jacket and her tennis shoes.
EQUIPMENT NAME: White Dream
TYPE: Weapon
STRENGTH: Average
DESCRIPTION:
Although she would never admit to naming her sword, Iris does carry around a Japanese katana which she has custom-built. The scabbard/saya is white, as is the wrapping on the handle, and the crossguard is white as well, the design being that of a pair of wings in a circle. While the handle is a normal length, the blade is slightly longer than a normal katana, going for four-and-a-half feet, making the sword's overall length almost equal to her height. It's a very normal katana with no extra features or special abilities. She also has several alternate blades for it that she can equip for different situations. She has a normal-length blade with a spare scabbard to accommodate her techniques, a blunt blade used for training matches that is an inch shorter than her normal blade to balance the weight, and a normal-length "reverse blade" which is blunt on the outside and sharp on the inside.
EQUIPMENT NAME: Quick-Release Saya
TYPE: Scabbard
STRENGTH: Weak
DESCRIPTION: Developed specifically for agent Iris Walker, this Exorcist invention was made to accommodate her unorthodox method of fighting with such a long sword. The construction is mostly metal, though some wood is used to reduce the weight by a slight fraction. The top and bottom of this scabbard are metal, the one on the bottom running slightly longer than the top one, neither reaching the end of the scabbard. Towards the top a metal handle extends off to the side so Iris does not cut her hand using the primary mechanism of this scabbard: The quick-release doors. The handle has a small trigger that releases a door on the bottom of the scabbard, allowing Iris to slash her sword while drawing it, greatly increasing her attack speed. The top door does not have a trigger, and instead is spring-based, merely covering up the top of the blade when she places it back in the scabbard. {Image}
VEHICLE NAME: 2011 Kawasaki ZX-10R "Ninja"
TYPE: Ground
CLASS: Civilian
PROTECTION: Weak
VEHICLE EQUIPMENT: None
DESCRIPTION
Iris owns a red Ninja motorcycle, the 2011 model features an LCD dashboard. It offers greater traction control than previous models and has lighter wheels.
LOYALTY: Exorcists
KEY ATTRIBUTES:
Iris likes to try and put off a cold exterior in an attempt to be perceived as "cool" by those around her. She tends to look at people with indifference at best, scorn at worst, and never smiles. She may occasionally smirk when making a boast, but most of the time she plays the part of the distant, unapproachable figure who doesn't care about anything other than completing her assignments. This facade is mostly powered by her own internal conflict; not being sure if she's going to adapt well to a militaristic environment like the one presented by the Exorcists.
In reality, Iris is very much a caring, sensitive girl. She hides this as much as possible because she wants to fight, and believes that compassion is not a good quality to have in a fight, especially against monsters like the Kishin. Not only does she want to fight, she also seems to thoroughly enjoy fighting, which could be her primary motivation behind concealing her sensitive side. There is one thing that will always have the same effect on her, however, anything that she perceives as "cute" will break strait through her emotional barrier and reveal her true side.
Despite her internal conflict, Iris is fiercely competitive no matter what side of her personality is showing. She's driven by a constant need to prove her skills and grow as a fighter. If she starts to feel like she's on the losing side of a fight, she will resort to any means necessary to re-establish control of a fight. She's also very proud and independent, meaning she typically doesn't like it when people step in on her fights without her approval. She is a willing team player when she doesn't feel like her personal honor as a warrior is on the line. If she's fighting another sword user, she will demand to take them on alone, otherwise she's very responsive to team formations and leader commands.
As a young tomboyish girl known for getting into fights, Iris grew up idolizing action stars in movies and on TV. She became particularly infatuated with the idea of the Samurai and the glamorous representation they receive in these works of fiction. She learned the art of forging Japanese katanas in her spare time between work and school, and at age of 18, she forged a long katana she named White Dream, not that she would admit to naming it now. Over the next year, she would practice with it every day, following the Iaido style of swordsmanship as closely as she could without an actual instructor.
One day, the Walker residence in Rural New York ended up playing host to a confrontation between an Exorcist agent named Gabriel Preston and a Kishin Egg. The conflict spilled into their neighborhood, and when it reached their house, Iris grabbed her sword and rushed out to help the Exorcist despite her parents protests. Although it wasn't as graceful as she had hoped, she was successful in aiding the Exorcist in the defeat of the Kishin Egg. Seeing potential in Iris, Preston offered to take her to sign up with them. She accepted the invitation and succeeded in joining, and has since started to receive formal combat training with her sword style.
Despite the fact that the Exorcists operate as a military, Iris gets away with a lot of regulation breaking, mainly due to Preston's influence. She gets away with breaking dress code regulations at the HQ as well as not wearing her uniform properly when she's on assignment. She has her own quarters, but this is mainly to accommodate a minor problem she has. Originally, Iris was going to be trained in firearms like the rest of the organization's agents, but it was discovered that she has a sensitivity to noises like gunshots that she did not know about before. Despite this she was allowed to stay as an agent, instead focusing training where it was originally recommended: Her considerable swordsmanship talent.

ABILITY NAME: Iaido
TYPE: Passive
STRENGTH: Medium
KEYWORDS: Sword, style, speed
DESCRIPTION: Iris practices this Japanese swordsmanship style which focuses on quick, fluid movements involving drawing her katana, making the attack, and placing the katana back in its scabbard/saya. TYPE: Passive
STRENGTH: Average
KEYWORDS: improved strength, improved speed
DESCRIPTION:
Iris has undergone special training and conditioning to improve themselves physically, surpassing what are generally considered the limits of the human body in terms of strength, speed, agility, reflexes, and reaction time.

DESCRIPTION
Iris owns a red Ninja motorcycle, the 2011 model features an LCD dashboard. It offers greater traction control than previous models and has lighter wheels.
LOYALTY: Exorcists
KEY ATTRIBUTES:
Strengths:
- Very quick, both in movement and attacking
- Adept at defensive swordsmanship, typically involving using the sheathe of her sword to deflect attacks
- Great instincts and reflexes
Weaknesses
- Gets distracted when she slips up in her fighting style, and is poorly practiced in just using the sword on its own.
- Iris is a little on the frail side, concentrating mostly on attacking and avoiding damage, so when she takes a hit, it's usually harder than most people would take it
- Not an experienced fighter by any stretch of the imagination, she's reliant on her sword and is not adept at fighting without it
- Minor sensitivity to loud noises, especially gunshots. Any non-silenced guns going off within 25 feet of her will cause her ears to ring.
