Leon ran up the stairs of the Death Weapon Meister Academy, taking in the beauty of it all. He couldn't stop himself from cheesing, just think he was on his way of becoming a famous Meister just like his father. Here he would learn how to fight, even more advanced that his father was able to teach him in the short time that he did. He'll be able to develop and grow. Not only that he would meet his weapon, a trusting friend that stood by his side. Trusted him with it's life, and was always willing to risk one's own life to save the other. Leon reached his thumb up to his mouth biting the skin gently. Taking in a gentle scan of the surrounding area, currently it was before 7 A.M. and plenty of students both mixed with Meister's and Weapon's littered the front courtyard.
Unfortunately no matter how hard he looked, watched, or stared there was nobody that fit that description. Hmm How was it possible that his father found his weapons? He never asked that before, he just always seemed to hang out with the same general ones. He took a big sigh, well when in doubt ask around right?
Leon chosen a set group of people the clueless innocent look on his face, he wasn't given much attention until he made himself known. "Excuse me, are there... any weapons available over here?" The group looked at each other before shaking their head in denial, slightly depressed Leon turned away waving a hand. "Thanks any way." The group soon reengaged in their conversations. In return Leon simply rolled his eyes, pfft like they cared any way.
Approaching another group, complied with... slightly more well muscled group of boys about his age. They took one look at him before starting to laugh. "Hey guy, you are aware your Meister tag in on your forehead right? It's supposed to be on your shirt."
Leon raised a brow, "Your minds simply can't comprehend the simplistic design of wearing a badge on your forehead. It not only eliminates the need to look down at your intended partner to be's chest but it's also an excellent conversation initiator." Didn't matter what he said the group kept laughing at him. Leon furrowed his eyes, getting on with the initial question he had. "Are there any weapons over here or not!"
"None that you could handle. Hehe! Not nearly especially for your weak and scrawny self." His blood boiling Leon stormed off, it was completely useless, this place was filled with a bunch of morons, he would never be able to find a weapon at this rate. Leaning against a wall looking over the town a nightmare-ish thought struck him. What if he was to be the only Meister without a weapon?! The thought almost made him want to cry... well almost.

``EMILIO;;&& first day on the job
To tell the truth, as Milo scanned the scene with trained eyes, he was sure that he was going to like this place quite a lot. It was his kind of place. energetic teenagers, a school where he could learn how to use his skills, and the perfect place to get stronger so that he could finally get his revenge for his parents' deaths. He thought to himself for a moment. Kind of a cliche type of story, yeah? He actually realized how much that was going to drive him insane. Then he shrugged, completely over it. Once again he scanned the area for any sign of someone who might be a good match for him. He needed someone perfect. Someone who could handle his training. Well, maybe not. It was quite possible that many of these teens would never understand his need for speed.
Currently he was leaning on the wall of the school with his arms crossed, watching each and every student to match up with his criteria. Some of them seemed like the perfect match until he found something that threw it all away. Mostly he didn't know what it was about them that bothered him. Maybe it was the way they acted or the way they interacted with others. Maybe he just didn't feel the connection. There were many variables. So he tossed many opportunities.
It was then that someone new walked up the stairs and caught his eye. This teen wore his badge on his forehead instead of on his shirt. Genius. Absolutely Genius. Already Milo liked this boy. His was small, just a little bit taller than himself, and he looked to be the best fit for him so far. Though, being with a girl might have been nice, Milo knew he needed a guy companion to just joke around and have fun with. Besides, it had been awhile since he had had a best friend. Not only did he look the criteria physically, but Milo found that they might fit quite nicely with their personalities. This boy had one of the biggest, goofiest smiles on his face that Milo had ever seen.
He watched silently as This boy went to a couple different groups and confronted them. The first had rejected him subtly, probably because they didn't have an answer to his questions anyway, and the second group just out right teased him. What jerks. Milo would totally show them who's boss if they ever did that to him, but for the mean time he wasn't really worried about that.
"Your minds simply can't comprehend the simplistic design of wearing a badge on your forehead. It not only eliminates the need to look down at your intended partner to be's chest but it's also an excellent conversation initiator." And Now, Milo had enough watching. That quote was just enough to convince him that this person would be an amazing partner. He had noticed that the bigger boys had discouraged him a bit and Milo couldn't stand the thought of seeing him discouraged. He smiled. This was going to be a partnership to remember. Finally he pushed himself away from the wall and walked over to the boy, shoving one of the boys in the laughing circle on his way and slipping himself into the crowd to keep from getting caught.
"You know," he said coming up from behind him, "The button on your fore-head idea is a Genius thought. Pure Genius. I honestly couldn't say it any better myself." He chuckled lightly, but warmly. He glanced over at the group of guys, who were, undoubtedly, getting themselves into a mess just looking for him. He rolled his eyes sarcastically. "You know them big fellas always think their better then us little guys. To tell the truth, their going to have to answer to us someday, you know that right? It's the smart ones like us who always get the better jobs." He said pointing a finger at his temple to indicate his intelligence.

Leon continued to lean over the side of the courtyard wall feeling that cool breeze wash over him. He needed to take a breather, that group really had him worked up pretty bad, he closed his eyes feeling the breeze wash over him feeling as if all his worries washed away. This safe haven lasted but for only a few seconds before his imagination started kicking in. What would happen if he couldn't find a partner in time? He pulled back his sleeve looking at the watch, wasn't much time now before classes began to start, would they force a weapon upon him even if they didn't really "Match." Or would he be considered a worthless case and expelled from the academy? He could see it now, Shinigami reaper chopping him back down those stairs! Ooh... not a pleasant thought to behold.
Maybe he could skip the first day of class! Obtain passing grades on extra credit alone, give excuses to everyone who asked about his weapon. 'Oh you know, he's-' crap! What gender was his weapon going to be? In order to make a reliable story you needed to have the correct gender. He could probably make more excuses with the female gender, they had far more problems than males. 'You know she's sick, not feeling well vomiting up ectoplasm all night.' Then again how well would that excuse work? Better yet how long would it work for. I doubt a weapon would be ill year round.
His hand shot to his hand scratching at his hair. Finally his mind was quite enough to pick it up. The sound of foot steps coming towards him. Were one of the morons here to push him even farther? Try and get him to fight them without a weapon. Yeah! That would boost your rep. The steps stopped right behind him, waiting for the hand on the shoulder to forcefully turn him around before the pummeling began.
"You know," Leon jumped from surprise. It wasn't the rough, tough voices that were of the moron group. It was a softer more gentler kind of tone, a tone that actually sounded like he cared about him. He continued to listen, "The button on your fore-head idea is a Genius thought. Pure Genius. I honestly couldn't say it any better myself." Someone actually agreed with him... well it wasn't a first but it was still unexpected. Leon opened his mouth in order to say something but the boy behind him continued before he could get anything out. "You know them big fellas always think their better then us little guys. To tell the truth, their going to have to answer to us someday, you know that right? It's the smart ones like us who always get the better jobs."
What angle was this guy playing at? Was he homosexual? Was he checking him out right this second?! No! That's preposterous, just chill, the boy talked to you it's only customary to reply. "Umm... Yeah." Oh great reply bone head. If only the rest of the world had your brains!
Leon then turned around finally getting a full view of the boy's face. He was young, younger than him, rather small too, fiery red hair, he liked it. When Leon stood straight up he was a few inches taller than the boy but not by much. he wasn't kidding whenever he said small guys like us. Then again, Leon knew he wasn't tall he had come to accept that. He scanned down the rest of his body, but the badge on his shirt reading 'WEAPON.' He was a weapon! He had to play it cool, maybe he wouldn't have to go home a failure after all. "I know what you mean. If you have intelligence, you can out beat brawn every time. Especially if you're fast enough to dodge their attacks, right? Nice to meet cha, the name Leon, I'm a Meister." He said offering out his hand.

``EMILIO;;&& first day on the job
Now that he saw the boy a bit closer, he realized that he was not only a little bit taller than he himself was, but he was also a year, maybe two, older than him also. Hehe, great. Well, it didn't matter to him much, it was just a little thing he had when it came to people his age. It seemed that they were always just a little bit older than him. When the boy finally turned around he could see him a lot more clearly and Milo couldn't help, but nod to himself in satisfaction.
"Umm... Yeah."
He seemed to be just a little bit shocked to find that Milo was talking to him. No big deal. Milo could be a bit out of the blue sometimes, and he found that he liked to be surprising. In fact, he got a kick out of it and he had to force himself not to laugh, though he did a pretty good job at it. Then he watched as this boy offered his hand to shake and spoke again. "I know what you mean. If you have intelligence, you can out beat brawn every time. Especially if you're fast enough to dodge their attacks, right? Nice to meet cha, the name Leon, I'm a Meister."Milo smiled calmly and shook the hand that was offered to him. Now he knew his new friend's name. Leon. Bold. Quite bold. Common for a guys name, but a good one at that. Leon would be a find ally and friend. He nodded in response to Leon's comment and then reverted his attention to the last part. Yes, yes, of course he was a meister. Was it not so easily seen plastered on his forehead? Or had he forgotten? He didn't pursue the problem any longer then a couple of seconds then he turned his attention to what he was going to say next. "I'm Emilio, but you can call me Milo if you like." He said in his wonderful Italian accent. Man he loved to see people freak out over it. Though he also enjoyed listening to other people's accents in contrast to his own. It was how he learned to tell the difference between each race for the most part. "I'm a weapon, if you haven't already figured that out yet, but what you probably didn't know, was that I'm a stiletto dagger and what you say about speed fits my description. He glanced over at the bigger boys, who still seemed kinda paranoid if you asked him, and then back at Leon. "Might I say that we got it all, even if they don't know it yet." He laughed shortly. "Oh, and by the way Leon. You and me are now partners. Just letting you know. Don't wanting you to end up with one of those guys-" he pointed at the looser group. "-just because you couldn't find anyone. That would be a shame to waist such quick and well used abilities, such as ours." Once again he held out his hand. "So what do you say? Partners?"To be perfectly honest, Milo was a bit nervous about what this guy might say to his offer. The only two reasons he rushed into it had to do with ADHD personality, where he couldn't stand to deal with the anticipation any longer, and because he really didn't like any of the other meisters that he had seen wondering the court yard. He could literally feel a match with this boy and he hoped that it was their soul wavelengths. Besides, anyone who was quick on their feet was Milo's kind of person. Leon had indeed completely forgotten that he had his Meister badge plastered to his forehead. His original idea was to put it there because it made him look like an idiot. Get people to laugh that way he would have an easy way in to talk to them. Unfortunately though his idea didn't only seemed incorrect but it got him teased by a larger group of people.
But the experiment wasn't an entire failure it seemed like he had gained himself some attention. Although no doubt if he continued on this streak he was going to be the laughing stock of the school in no time. That's okay! He'll just show them just how much power he has.
Turning his attention away from his own thoughts and returning them to Emilio, "I'm Emilio, but you can call me Milo if you like."
"Emilio..." He said slowly. He was honestly terrible with names but great with faces, if they were going to be partners it was only mandatory that they memorized each other's names right? And what was with that accent? Where was he from? Leon didn't want to guess and turn out to be dead wrong so it would probably be better if he just told him.
"I'm a weapon, if you haven't already figured that out yet, but what you probably didn't know, was that I'm a stiletto dagger and what you say about speed fits my description." Leon thought about this for a second. Speed was his description huh? A stiletto dagger, from what he knew about the stiletto is that it was a small incredibly fast weapon. Difficult to wield if you don't know how to, sounded like a presentable challenge, it's mainly a stabbing weapon rather than a hack and slash. Then again this was a weapon, for all he knew the entire thing could be hack and slash while the tip is as dull as a spoon. Every weapon was different and you couldn't assume that two were the same unless they were like Siamese twins or something.
What Emilio had to say next, well surprised Leon to say the least. "Might I say that we got it all, even if they don't know it yet." He laughed shortly. "Oh, and by the way Leon. You and me are now partners. Just letting you know. Don't wanting you to end up with one of those guys-" Isn't it the Meister's job to be in charge? Although he liked the guy, he had spirit and guts. Sheesh pretty weird seeing two guy's with completely conflicting hair colors. Sounds like he didn't have much choice in the matter, he didn't mind honestly he was going to ask if he wanted to be partners any way. "-Just because you couldn't find anyone. That would be a shame to waste such quick and well used abilities, such as ours."
"So what do you say? Partners?" Leon pretended to mull things over in his mind. If only Emilio knew how excited on the inside he was, then again maybe his ever growing goofy smile would give some kind of hint to it.
"Sounds like I don't have much choice in the matter, not to mention even if I did my answer would still be the same." Leon took his hand firmly shaking it, "Partners."
