Oh, hey, a legit looking Soul Eater based roleplay. Never thought I'd see the day..
So anyways, Hi. I just stumbled upon this forum and I took a look at the "Apply for Full Membership." page. I don't have any samples to post, and I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to go about gaining full access to the forums. Can anybody provide me with some help on this? Thanks.

You can still roleplay in the free roleplay forum.
I'm assuming you've roleplayed before?

You assume correctly. I've been roleplaying for roughly four or five years. Thanks for the help too, I'll check out the free roleplaying forum.

Welcome to Shades of Vertigo! I'm Nascent, the crazy old man resident Admin and RP Teacher, here to tell you to GET OFF MAH LAWN! bid you a warm greeting and help you get started. If you have and questions feel free to ask here or fire off a PM to my inbox; I'm always here to help! Now then, I should mention a very recent (as in five minutes ago) refinement to the membership application. You now have the option of using your first character profile as the "RP sample" part of the app, so that would get you into the mix of things much quicker. Hope that helps! ;D And now, as is my personal tradition, here's your official SoV welcome muffin! What? Demon muffin? Preposterous! Although I might have spilled some PowerThirst into the mix...

Oh, uhm, okay.. Should I have access to the entire forum? also, that muffin is going to haunt me in my FREAKING SLEEP.
Edort- Nevermind. I just had access to the entire forum for like a second. Anyways, what should I do should nobody reply to my roleplay topics in the free roleplay sections? I'm kinda screwed if I don't get responses, as I don't have any other sources to show my roleplay abilities.

Well i think this is what Nas was trying to do.
In order for you to be a full member, you have to apply with a roleplay sample. Via the new rule all you have to do is fill out the character profile in a satisfactory manner (which shouldn't be a problem given the Rp you posted you seem to know exactly what you're doing)
Now the problem that Nas seems to have forgotten is , since you're still a new member, your status doesn't grant you access into the character management forum where you would find the template and such to fill out for you character application.
To alleviate this, I've gone into the character management forum and copied my profile for you to use as both a sample and a template
edit: I tried deleting some of the stuff but then i got lazy and said "he can use it as a sample"
here you go. Let me know if you have any other questions

Also, since for obvious reasons you can't post this in the character management forum, if you finish it before we can get this settled, just post it in the free roleplay forum and I'm sure we can have it moved into the submitted/accepted (whichever is appropriate at the time of move) at a later occasion

Hmm... that's very strange. Character Management is set to be all access currently. I'll have to muck about and see what's going on in the deep confines of Aperture Science the admin controls... (Performs tests with new Test Account...) Okay, I've got good news. You do have access to Character Management Koganei! It's probably just a matter of our navigation being a bit unfamiliar; the forum itself was too long and so Sowilu found a handy code that breaks it down into chunks. All you have to do is click on 'Character Management' on the far right just below the news feed; that'll bring up the main profiles section as well as the Emporium section. So you should be good to go. Also Geno has wisely advised me to adjust the new policy; a character profile can count as one of the two RP Samples. And don't worry about activity; The staff are looking for quality of writing so if no one responds in a thread it can still be considered for review. That, and I'll jump in personally to give you someone to work with on your basketball thread. Sorry about all the confusion. Does that help?
