Lei didn’t have any friends quite yet at Shibusen, which left her lonely, wandering around the shopping district whenever she needed something; trying desperately not to stand out like a sore thumb, a lonely sore thumb.
This particular time she needed a new camera and scrapbook to fill with photos of her one true love…ah…Gerrard.
Although in truth she had ended up buying enough bags of stuff to really make her struggle to even walk! The pain was too much. She dropped everything in favor of trying out the new digital camera.
She fiddled with all the buttons trying to make it work; after a few minutes she had taken some beautiful pictures of her shoe, her hand and one of her eyes. She swung around, finally understanding the magical doohickeys controls, looking for a good photo.
She was just about to take a photo of the plaza…and then…right there! There he was! Just at the end of the plaza….Gerrard sat at a café.

After school had ended and he'd packed away everything he felt necessary, books, pencils, tucked in the fallen chairs etc, he had headed straight home. He had collapsed onto his bed and laid there for a while, breathing steadily and taking his pills with a glass of water. He felt no change in him since the medication had been implied, and all he really could do was wait, and he'd wait as long as he needed to. He didn't feel like he could hang on for another ten years, perhaps he'd not make it past thirty eight or drop dead tonight. He cared, but he couldn't stop it. He'd leave everything behind one day, and unfortunately he'd have to give in. However, he wouldn't stop fighting just yet.
After an hour or so he'd changed into a more casual attire and tucked two books into his bag, along with his reading glasses. How he hated them. It was a fact they looked good on him, brought out his eye colour and was a very nice look for him, however, it's always the duty of someone who wears glasses to hate glasses, and he was no exception.
He took with him a hardback copy of Embassy Town and American Gods, both of them with a bookmark somewhere around the middle. He had bought both just a few days ago, and it seemed that he was storming through them like fire.
He had gone to his usual pit stop, a small cafe in the shopping district; great for tea and a sandwich, they also did some rather nice rich tea biscuits, and he liked to gorge himself on those. Then he'd pop down to the gym and burn them off, and hopefully the girls who were down there didn't give him suggestive looks like the others time. It pissed him off and made him stop early. However, it wasn't like he wasn't proud of his body, he rather enjoyed it actually. Sometimes he liked to smirk at them and roll his eyes. Taken, bitches, he'd think to himself before packing in and heading home to wallow in his loneliness.
He sat on a single round table, a nice bouquet of flowers grouped in bright pinks and oranges and reds to one side of him, a cup of tea and a small plate of roughly fifteen rich teas, five already gone. Gerrard enjoyed the ever-so-British process of dunking a biscuit into tea fro roughly five to seven seconds before eating off what was semi-soaked by the tea. Sometimes he'd nibble on a dry one, before coming to the conclusion that a dunked biscuit was better than a non-dunked. Then he'd nibble on it a little more, like a really big mouse.
He noticed a girl a fair way away drop he bags, and he rolled his eyes. He knew instantly who she was, and decided to keep his head down diligently. He would not be spotted by this sociopath. she was bad for his press, he had a partner and a child, this certainly wasn't really the best way for his students to be acting. He ducked his head, but he knew she'd spotted him. He quoted a line from his favourite book:
"Oh Gods and Jabber and fuck."

Lei didn’t to think twice about approaching this tea-drinking knight! She began to maneuver her way through the crowded plaza; although her movements were frighteningly calculated, like a train following a track.
She didn’t think he had noticed…She would surprise him! He would turn around, crying tears of happiness when it was Lei and not some hideous monster.
In under a minute she was on the table behind him, waiting for him to realize; she tried not to look conspicuous but she couldn’t stop herself from boring holes in the back of his head using her eyes.

If it were and consolation, he would have dressed her in a bloodhound costume, but that would make Lei think he had a think from furries, which really he had zero interest in, but -in whole brutal truth- he really had a think for tight fitting latex and leather. He made it absolutely clear to himself that Alice and Alice only would ever know about that, as well as his fondness to a little bit of pain and manhandling. He shook the thoughts from his head; now was not the time to be thinking about Alice in a latex catsuit, it wasn't appropriate especially with a stalker, well, stalking at the least. He wondered what Alice would say; she'd probably tease him and take the piss, making him embarrassed. She was good at that and she loved to excisize it from time to time.
Gerrard buried his brain in his book, trying not to think about the student stalking and creeping up on him; she had vanished, he couldn't spot her anymore. He prepared himself for their inevitable meeting and and he thought of something to say, anything at all that could perhaps lets him slip away when she least expected it. He knew, however, that she'd do her best to make him stay, and that was something he really wished she'd not do. Sure, everyone had fancied a teachers once. Hell, he's had a son with his business studies teacher. Alice Gates was her name. He smiled at the thought. It was slightly odd, really, that she was coming up thirty now and she'd taught him in college. They'd just-so-happened to click in all the right place and had become friends. Now they lived together with a one and a half year old son. It was almost crazy talk.
He began to read America Gods, tried to immerse himself like he always did, but then he had a hot sensation run his his spine. Someone was looking at him and wasn't going to look away. He rolled his eyes and let his shoulders slack, slopping dramatically. He usually carried them shallow and strong, but he felt no need. He looked bigger now, he slumped and slammed his book shut. He sighed and looked around.
Lei Ming.
He caught her eyes in a fiery gaze -his filled with annoyance, her's with some sick awe. There wasn't anything between them, he knew it, but she didn't. Lei was stuck in the notion that Gerrard was the man for her, even if they were over fifteen years apart and he had a son. She probably liked Isaac to, and that made him sick to his stomach also. He rolled his eyes again, tearing his gaze away. He ran his hand through his hair -a nervous notion- and exhaled deeply.
"What are you doing, Miss Ming?" he asked casually, trying not to gain eye contact for more than a few seconds at a time, in case she decided to rape him. That of which was neigh impossible. His strength to hers was immense, she'd never hold him down if she tried. He sighed and shook his head. Wanting desperately to get back to his book.
