I'm a very big nerd, so I'll be being a very big nerd and will be reviewing various books and games every month to keep myself entertained, and give you something to read.
I have 78 books in the house, about 3/4 of those I will review. I also have a numerous amount of PS2 games and X-Box 360 games I will also review when I have a moment to spare.
So, these are the descriptions for the candidates thins months!:
Prince of Persia on X-Box 360:
The remake of the 1989 Prince of Persia game. The game focuses on the main character, The Prince, and Elika, a princess of an abandoned land. Her father helps the god of darkness, Ahriman, break free from his seal, and the two must journey across the old lands to heal it and lock Ahriman away forever.
The Reapers are the Angels hardback novel:
'Older than her years and completely alone, Temple is drying to live one day at a time in a post-apocalyptic world, where the undead roam endlessly, and the remnants of mankind seem, at times, to retain little humanity themselves.
This is the world she was born into. Temple has known nothing else. Her journey takes her to far-flung places, to people struggling to maintain some semblance of civilization- and to those who have created a new world order.
When she comes across to help Maury, she attempts to set one thing right. If she can get him back to his family in Texas then maybe it will bring redemption for some of the terrible things She's done in the past. Because Temple has had to fight to survive, she has done things she's not proud of and, along the road, she's made enemies.
Now one vengeful man is determined that, in a world gone mad, killing her is the one thing that makes sense...'
The Left Hand of God paperback novel:
' Lost in the Sanctuary's huge maze of corridors is a boy: his age is uncertain, his real name unknown.
They call him CALE. He is strange and secretive, witty and charming- and violent. But when he opens the wrong door at the wrong times he witnesses an act so horrible he must flee the vast and desolate Sanctuary of the Redeemers, or die.
The Redeemers will got o any lengths to get Cale back...
Not because of the secret he has discovered.
But because of an even more terrifying secret, which lies in himself...'
