Here's a primary (and ever-expanding) list on frequently asked questions about purchases using the Emporium.
A: Buying a skill does not have to be accompanied by a roleplay thread where your character learns their new skill. Some characters like showing the natural progression and growth of their character, and that is rewarded by giving the player a small discount on the cost of the skill. However, if you are willing to pay full price, you can pick up the skill and use it immediately; no training necessary. Some players like to get straight into the action, and this allows them to do so.
A: Of course, but don't freak out just yet. Restrictions help us as staff to keep things fair. So, higher level abilities require more points. This sets what's called a "soft limit" on certain skills because an ultimate death spell that wipes out all life in existence within a mile of the character and can be used immediately would cost *gets a calculator* 79 billion points at current exchange rates. It's rather unlikely that someone will ever get that high. In addition, certain moves just don't 'make sense' when applied to certain character types. No Meister will EVER be granted a weapon form without some VERY convincing arguments with the staff. No weapon will EVER get a move that disregards their weapon type (a gun weapon being used to slice through enemies, for instance). So, as basic as the rules get, stick to your type and don't go nuts, and the staff will be happy to provide you with some excellent enhancements.
A: Yes. It may not cost you that same amount, and it may not work in exactly the same way, but most times you can borrow the info of a purchase from another user's thread. Just watch for 'proprietary' or 'unique' purchases.
A: Is it something that can be handed to another character? Item purchases make sense, abilities often do not. Use your common sense, and remember that the points you gained on your character are for their benefit. Gift giving is possible, but they should be actual 'gifts'.
A: No. All purchases from the Emporium are final. It's a question of taxing our staff even more, and then how do we handle a return someone is making from an item they got from someone else (see above question)... No. Anything bought in the Emporium may not be returned.
Q: Does my character need to do the training thread in order to buy a skill?

Q: Are there any kind of restrictions on what I can buy?
A: Of course, but don't freak out just yet. Restrictions help us as staff to keep things fair. So, higher level abilities require more points. Q: Can I buy something that someone has already bought?
A: Yes. It may not cost you that same amount, and it may not work in exactly the same way, but most times you can borrow the info of a purchase from another user's thread. Just watch for 'proprietary' or 'unique' purchases.
Q: Can I buy something and give it to another character?

Q: Can I return something I buy for a refund on points?
