[[OOC: This is a RBFC plot thread, though I've let it open to any other people who may want to join in. Since it already does have a semi-structured plot, just give us a heads up before you jump in.]]
As usual in Citizenship class, it seemed as though the last thing anybody was preparing to do was learn. The doors and windows were shut tight so as to not let any of the precious chilled air escape, though it didn't stop anyone from dozing off. Here and there students slumped over their desks; the more courteous, or perhaps more sly of them, had the foresight of at least hiding behind their heavy text books. Others texted furiously to one another with their phones under their desks, and it was certain that those who were tapping away at their laptops were doing anything but filling up an open Word document with notes.
Slumped down in her seat, Eva lazily scrolled down page upon page of terribly graphic writing. When she first set out on the task of reviewing fanfiction for the RBFC's first creative works contest, she'd been almost too shamed to bring out the documents anywhere besides in the privacy of her own room. However, any coyness was quickly stamped out after several days of nonstop exposure to the unrestrained depths of the female mind. It was a remarkable change, really, to go from complete revulsion from knowing that it was their mutual classmate they were writing about, to an almost jaded and apathetic exterior manner towards the NC-17 material. By now she considered herself a connoisseur of smut, one who could hold a critical eye for the dialogue, descriptions, and what plot there was. The metaphors! Damn those who seemed to have no idea how to utilize metaphors and euphemisms. This particular submission was an especially bad offender. Away with it! Grading the artwork and the occasional audio mix was easy enough, but the writing!
Her gaze went down to the clock at the corner of the screen: 2 minutes until the end of the day! The room bustled as all of the energy that had been seeping out for the duration of the lecture suddenly came flooding back as the students began packing up to leave. The professor continued on unperturbed even as the class's collective gaze was split going back and forth between the clock on the wall and the closed door. Ears strained for the bell that would sound their freedom, except the sound that came was most definitely not the chime that they had grown accustomed to. Several half-muffled squeals rose as guitar chords came through the PA system. Eva froze in the middle of getting up from her seat. 'No. Nooo. No. Nuhuh.' The girl nearly choked on her own saliva as the gruff humming joined in. She looked around slowly at each the club members in the class; every last one of their faces told a similar story of complete mortification. They were completely helpless in what was to follow. 'Ohhhh no.'[/color]
They all knew what was coming next; most of them had listened to the song enough times to memorize the lyrics by heart. The demon weapon dashed out of the classroom before that, however. All the while she brisk-walked through the hallway, she fought the strong urge to roll into a ball and pretend their worst fears hadn't just been realized. Students stopped one another, some laughing in disbelief, all asking the same question: "Is that Rocton Barret singing?"
It was and it wasn’t exactly. Drawing upon the club’s resources and the schedule of his classes and favored hideaways they had compiled through “guided expeditions,” a team of highly motivated girls had obtained audio recordings of his guitar playing. However, to count as valid under the contest rules, they had to create something from the raw material: they created a voice bank from his singing, to croon out the lyrics they had rewritten to accompany the medley they’d carefully pieced together. It was a fanclub favorite, and a true work of love and dedication- that was now put on display for the entire school. Eva whimpered as the singing drew to a close, for their collective torment was not yet finished. A squeaky voice followed; digitally pitched, it had to be. “Brought to you, with love, by the Rocton Barret Fanclub!”
Now the final blow had been dealt. Her hands shook as she reached for her phone.
”This is a mass text. RBFC, meeting room. NOW. EMERGENCY.”

Yuu sat in his classroom, and like usual for the end of the day...Everyone was completely bored. The flamboyant Meister laid his feet on his desk, and stared blankly in front of him. Some would have believed that his gaze was set on his nails, as this would be the usual case for him...Filing his nails, when he should be paying attention in class. However that wasn't the case. The action seemed pointless, but Yuu was depressed, and this was the only way he could cope with it...Or perhaps it wasn't coping. Perhaps he wasn't yet over the shock...The shock of losing something that he held so close. When he was alone, it would keep him company. It was all that he needed to take his mind off of adversity, and frankly...It made him feel beautiful. That blood stained, and now useless nail file...He hadn't realized until the other day, when he noticed that his nails weren't completely perfect...and then it hit him. So now he sat in class, with his fingers moving in perfect synchronization, with what would be his technique for filing his nails. It was a little pitiful, and it did get him a couple of looks in the last couple of days. Especially the whispering of the guy right behind him...He had heard his name, though he hadn't heard much else, it still pissed him off.
"Y'know...I'd usually have some kind of insult...but just shut up! I'm not in the mood...Find some use for your life, and actually pay attention to the teacher instead of what I'm doing...Intolerable little prick...Let me ruin something of yours! Something that you never thought that you would part with! "
Yuu rubbed his seemingly irritated eyes, and then tapped his finger on his chin as he turned around in his chair, sitting in the unconventional manner...That was not only disrespectful, but seemed a little out of character for Yuu. Leaning over the back of the chair, where his back should've been, and tapping his chin, he shot a slightly amused glance down, and then opened up a grin. However...It wasn't like his usual grins...This wasn't fake, nor was it a reflection of a good mood. This grin was sadistic, and obviously fueled by his aggravation.
"Maybe if we cut that off...You would understand, sweetheart. How about it?!"
The boy looked at him with a mixture of confusion, and horror. Yuu thought that he might've gone too far, but he didn't care. The loss of his favourite item was getting to him more than this person's whisperings, and it was enough to fuel him. After it seemed that the boy was done soiling himself, he pulled down his headphones the rest of the way, and began to spit out what he had apparently, been saying a moment before.
"I-I...I just wanted to know if you had...L-listened to the lesson..."
The boy had begun to tear up, and Yuu felt a little bad, but shook it off. He grabbed a notepad from a sleeping students desk...One who had obviously took a bit of notes, and passed it back. As if that was an apology...It was honestly all he could muster though, and then he turned back around. Just as he caught the time on the clock...Class was almost over, and all he wanted to do was wait for that usual sound to indicate that the day was do-What the hell was this? It was a guitar...Yuu would've recognized this, even if he hadn't paid any attention to the members of RBFC. They sure played it enough, and he actually kind of liked it...but it was not the time to sing along with the little song. It shouldn't be playing, and Yuu almost grabbed for his phone to text Eva...but he realized that the students had begun listening to the sound. Darn it! Any other day they would ignore it!
As he stood up from his chair, he reached over to the boy he had just terrorized. Pulling his headphones, from out of his MP3 player...As he had hoped, the boy's music blared, and caught the room's collective attention.
"-The funk soul brother. Check it out now-"
The Rockafeller Skank? At least it was more distracting than what was on the intercom, and it was better because it was at expense of someone else...Saving himself, and the RBFC was a lot more important right now. Just at that moment, Yuu's phone vibrated, and it was obvious that some of the others had gotten the same text as him.
”This is a mass text. RBFC, meeting room. NOW. EMERGENCY.”
It was obvious what the emergency was, and Yuu didn't even think to grab his things as he rushed out the door, and made his way to the meeting room. The hallway was full of snickering, and it was obvious that it was directed towards the singing...Rocton Barret...It was incredibly obvious that he'd hear about this now, and Yuu was probably screwed...Inevitably screwed. Ignoring the comments, he pushed through the people, and waited outside the fanclub meeting room. Just so that he didn't attract attention he lingered down that section of the hallway, and waited for Eva...They were so screwed...

Vespera Velázquez was not having a banner day. She had really been hoping that the girl who helped her at the zoo would be her new Meister, but apparently it just wasn't meant to be. Vespera wasn't going to ask her directly about it, considering it to be rude to just put someone on the spot like that. So, she was back to square one. No Meister. She had worn her normal attire today, not really in much of a mood to try anything different. How would she find a Meister now? Lynn was pure luck, so was Cinamon. Since Cin had practically vanished seeing as they had no classes together, that option was off the table it seemed.
It all comes back to one thing: It takes a particular kind of Meister to accept her weapon form. It still stood that most of the Meisters here did not want blunt, technical weapons. They wanted something they could inflict direct damage with, like a sword or gun. Lynn was willing to work with her because she knew how to work a Bo-Staff, Cin was apparently already partnered with a polearm weapon before so it wasn't much of a change. Who would want her now? She was starting to slip back into her old mind set, whether she realized it herself or not.
The day had gone by with no real excitement, and then... it happened. It came over the PA system and it was... unique. The Demon Staff had no clue how to react, but she wondered if that was actually Rocton playing that guitar. She literally knew nothing about the man, which is why she was only partially involved with the Fan Club. If he can play the guitar... maybe he could be someone to talk to? The blue-haired Weapon then felt the jolt of her phone going off, obviously having it set to vibrate so no one would take the phone away. She pulled out a, by today's standards, low-tech cell phone. It was a clamshell design, and she flipped it open to find a text message calling for an emergency meeting.
"What was that expression I heard...?" she pondered. "Right. 'Let's see what fresh hell awaits.'"
And with that, she proceeded to the appointed room.

"...Who the fuck is singing?" Sai asked out loud with disgruntled air and eyes half-lidded from exhaustion. It was utterly evident the teen has been napping in the duration of his class period. With a book propped up to conceal his very slumber from his teacher. The majority of his fellow students were just about to leave the class as it just ended. Dismissing all of them from the room. Yet, they all stood frozen in their very spots as they heard someone singing. The very voice... Deep. It was unmistakably masculine.
“Brought to you, with love, by the Rocton Barret Fanclub!”
"...Shit," his eyes popped fully open at the announcement. The meister's brain already on a full whirr of things. Already circulating memory after memory of the events about the that same fanclub. And it wasn't very long for him to formulate what this could truly mean--
His predictions seemed to be correct as his phone vibrated in his pocket, trying to drag his attention. His eyes darted at the lump on his thigh with hesitation mirroring on his pupils. With one hand, he jammed it inside while procuring it outside. Flicking it open with a thumb, the message was clear.
”This is a mass text. RBFC, meeting room. NOW. EMERGENCY.”
"Oh fuck me..." Sai muttered morosely while putting the cellphone back in his pocket.
"Duty calls, I suppose..."
Getting up on his very seat, the Oriental briskly walked upon towards the windows. Opening them before jumping out, causing a number of his peers to scream out in fear of a possible suicide... Only to see him skillfully using his parkour-like capabilities to get down to a lower level of the building. Soon reaching the club room along the way.

She had no words for President Kaneko when she saw him loitering about the door to Class Crescent Moon. Eva was able to take her mind off of impending crisis just enough to get the vague impression that they collectively looked ridiculous as more and more girls piled into the hallway, each one pretending to just be casually standing around. A great number of nervous young women all gathering in one public spot, directly after a mysterious PA announcement delivered by a "Rocton Barret Fanclub"? This certainly wasn't suspicious in the least, and must be entirely coincidental. As she made her way through the crush of girls, she waved her hands towards the now-empty lecture hall to direct the entire congregation inside.
The flock chittered nervously amongst themselves as they filed in and took their seats. A few even attempted to approach the petite girl for answers, though she batted them aside out of annoyance. She knew just as little as they did, and it was likely the same for Yuu. Speaking of the club president, Eva dove into the small mob of almost hysterical girls that had gathered around him to pester him for the information that she had been unable to provide. She grabbed him by the arm and pulled him out before they overwhelmed him- or before they made him lose his temper, whichever one was more likely to happen first. Several of the most needy of that ring of girls tried to tag along as Eva and Yuu made their way to the professor's table in the front of the lecture hall, and the demon weapon jerked her head at Yuu's "bodyguard" to stop them and convince them to take a seat.
"Do you-?" the Chinese girl asked haltingly, still at a loss of words. "I just- How? How did this happen? Who? Ohhh, when I find out who, I'm gonna wring their little neck with my bare hands, pop a wheelie on their gasping body, and back up to make sure the job is done." It was completely irrelevant that she had none of the strength required to subdue someone long enough to accomplish the first, and hardly enough control with driving her and Rune's motorcycle to do the third or even dream about the second. Once the outrage took over the fear, she was about ready to launch a witch hunt for the perpetrator that threatened to tear down the club that she and Yuu had only recently built up.

In battle, it is wise to first understand your enemy. To know what their intentions are, how they act, how they react. Such knowledge leads to understanding, to planning and sometimes to improvisation.
With all the papers flying around, and teenage girls being as secretive as a third world government funded spy agency, it wasn't hard to track the majority of their operation down. To their credit, it wasn't some loosely associated club with lack of goals and vision, they seemed for all intents and purposes remarkably organized for a bunch of hormone induced females led by a questionably male person. The firearms meister himself didn't really have many qualms with it at first, but then they started stalking him, badly. His trash was getting sorted through and he started to notice foot prints to his usual spots and even litter of papers all over his favorite spots in the park with love notes. The whole situation got out of his hand. He loved having his moments to himself in quiet solitude away from the stupid masses who lorded over his every action annoyingly.
So he decided to strike back a little, sure it required a little sacrifice, some embarrassing singing but as long as they assumed it was one of them, it would keep Rocton out of the spotlight and clear of any accusations. If anything the hard part was figuring out how to mash up the audio to hide himself singing those words so fluidly.
Once they all managed to shuffle inside the room and express their panic the PA system started to rumble with life again.
"Ahem, this thing on? Alright. Hello ladies and want to be lady. I'm sure you recognize my voice so no introduction necessary. Long story short, I know what you've been up to and today has been the final straw. Since you've all gathered here so conveniently, near the back of the room is a pile of papers, It's filled restraining orders for each and every single one of you, mainly Yuu but the rest of you are in there too. Just make sure to find the one with your name on it and sign it before you leave. Lawyers will meet you at the door to pick them up. You can blame your mystery songbird for this. Have a good day girls."
With that said, the PA system went back to silent as sounds could be heard outside the room. The lawyers, Theron had hired for Rocton, waiting for their paperwork.

"Are you kidding me? You've already messed up...I bet you did this on purpose too.
"What are we going to do!? Why would anyone do something like this? We worked so hard!"
"Let's be calm...Please...We can work this out..."
"No! What if Rocton heard that! He'll be soo upset with us..."
"I don't even know why I decided to help you...It's obvious that you're incompetent!
"You know what? Just stop talking you fa-"
Suddenly Yuu felt a tug on his arm, and in the moment he was gone. Luckily, it was Eva, and not someone that was going to make him even more upset. Or rather...She wasn't going to piss him off, intentionally...Or with obnoxious questions. Yuu went to speak to her, but it was obvious that she was uneasy, and wouldn't be able to give him any answers either.
"I just- How? How did this happen? Who? Ohhh, when I find out who, I'm gonna wring their little neck with my bare hands, pop a wheelie on their gasping body, and back up to make sure the job is done."
Yuu gulped, and stepped back from her for a moment. She wasn't in the best of moods, and this would probably affect her response to anything that he said. Then he thought about it, and she probably wasn't capable of all of the things that she had said...He still didn't want to find out.
"I have no clue what's going on...One of these cu-" Yuu thought about his choice of words for a moment, and decided that this was probably not the best."-girls...Is going to have to own up."
Just then Yuu heard the PA system come back to life, and a familiar voice began to speak. The entire message seemed to go in slow motion, as the celebrity had a cameo on the Yuu Kaneko show...but this wasn't a good thing. The Meister spoke of restraining orders...A restraining order on Yuu Kaneko? Is that really possible? The flamboyant Meister cursed to himself as it ended, and he ran into the classroom. Pushing past all of the shocked looking girls, and their obvious cries of anguish. He reached the back of the room, and found the papers...He then proceeded to kick them off of the table, with a huge, and dramatic sweep.
"Lucille...Damage control now! Everyone else just shut up! Not one more scream! If you feel like screaming, you might as well come find your name while you're at it."
Yuu had shot a glance at the corner of the room, where a girl, who seemed unaffected by all this was sitting. The only indication that the little poker face- wearing girl was upset, was the shaking as she opened a laptop, that was connected to a microphone. Yuu wasn't aware of how she did it, nor did he care, but he heard her monotonous voice over the intercom next.
"Please ignore all of what you have just heard, and continue on with exiting your classes. The staff will deal with the situation accordingly. Remain calm, and please resume exiting your classes-"
As she repeated it about twice more, Yuu stood in the back, with his hands on his temples. He was hoping that no one would come back here, to see his embarrassment. That was too much for him to handle...What would they do from here? It wasn't hard for him to find his name... not only was it the only one on a clipboard...but it already had a pen connected to it.

It wasn't very long until he arrived with his sprinting carrying his body across the halls. Yet, it would seem a much rather interesting development to see the fate of the club was on the teetering balance of life and death. Especially with the threat of Rocton Barret's wrath. One that Sai had to admit he saw it coming, and with cracking up a slightly dark lopsided grin. And there it was, the panic and pandemonium ensuing among each member and the lack of unity out of it. Slowly and surely, this club is starting to collapse so early on its very foundations. Again, not so surprising after all with its shaky beginnings with Yuu's habit of being quite an ass, to say.
"Well, what are you going to do now, Yuu?" Sai muttered only for his own ears, observing the mere confusion and panic that mirrored on the anguished faces of the club members with his own calm visage, unaffected by the restraining order. After all, he has no stock in the club in its entirety other than for extra spending money and amusement with the lack of obsession with this Rocton Barret in the first place.
But there is one thing for sure that almost had him crow in amazement as the Yuu Kaneko himself stormed inside this pandemonium-filled room while shoving aside each member. The flying of papers and the epic overturning of the table with a single kick-- The mere audacity and rebellion has forced a chuckle from Sai. Oh this was starting to get even more interesting. He knew it as he watched Yuu's anguish form soon after.
It was from there the meister walked over to his employer through the horde of females that once looked upon him with loathing. His very footsteps clashed loudly against the floor as he continued to move until his hand latched upon his shoulder.
"Nothing we can do now, Yuu," the meister told his fellow peer with a quirked lip denoting a tad bit of reassurance on his expression, "Might wanna regroup later on and think about what to do next, yeah?"
He leaned closer towards the flamboyant's individual's ear to whisper, "Perhaps we would need to meet with the Rocton, himself..."
Sai paused for the effect that would well up on Yuu, "On our own."

As Yuu read over his name, over, and over he didn't even notice Sai walking up to him. This was by far the worst thing, that he believed he had ever went through. Not only the evident rejection by Rocton...Not to say he was interested, but rejection wasn't his thing...it was also the fact that he was close to controlling the school, and then something like this was going to screw it all up for him.
"Nothing we can do now, Yuu, Might wanna regroup later on and think about what to do next, yeah?
Yuu was surprised, as his alleged bodyguard, came up to him, and then began to speak. While he wasn't in the best of moods, he felt that his peer's presence was reassuring enough. Yuu was still in control, of a few things at least, and all they would have to do is figure a way out of things. However, it was odd that Sai wasn't off somewhere, laughing about the whole thing...Yuu wasn't stupid. He was aware of how little Sai was willing to be apart of Yuu's plans, and this engagement was probably temporary. So why...
"Perhaps we would need to meet with the Rocton, himself...On our own."
Yuu understood everything now...This would probably be a good idea, and as long as Sai was with him, then he wasn't sure how much he would have to worry about. However...He wanted them all to meet up first, and try to figure things out...Like Sai said...Regrouping is a wonderful idea.
"We'll talk later, Sai..."
Yuu walked back to the front of the room, and began to talk over the cries of the heartbroken females, that was still slightly going on, even though he had made it clear that he wanted silence.
"I only have one thing to say...Eva, Sai, and I...Perhaps whoever else is willing...Will have a private meeting about this issue, and then a group wide meeting once we understand what's going on entirely...This isn't the end."
Yuu wasn't sure if there was much else that needed to be said, so he walked back to the back of the room, and took a seat. He motioned for Sai to stop anyone who tried to come up to him, and then began whispering.
"Do you want to fight Rocton, Sai? If it comes down to it...He's all yours...Just make sure I can still use him. If you don't, then you and I should still have another conversation...Later, though."

He finally showed his hand. Quite honestly it was never a question of whether Rocton would ever find out, but simply when. Likely it was as soon as when Yuu put up the wanted posters a good few weeks ago for a mysterious cloaked man with silver hair. As much as everyone, she and Yuu included, was despairing over the reveal, it wasn’t supposed to be a surprise at all. The blanched faces and the shrill squeals of “He knows! He knows! I can’t believe he knows!” really had no place. It would be entirely against the club’s unwavering adoration and admiration for him to assume otherwise.
However, her mouth remained open long after he tossed the devastating revelation at them. That he would announce his awareness so publicly was the actual surprise- so the club's invasive operations had pushed him to that point. Even as the foundation of the organization seemed ready to crumble, she found herself immensely pleased. He'd been forced to this extreme, was her own conclusion, and that itself was enough to call this entire venture a Pyrrhic victory. She had neither Yuu's voracious thirst for social domination, nor the ordinary members' blind infatuation for Rocton; what she kept to herself was that an even bigger motivator for backing the club than the gossip and intrigue was the enjoyment to be derived from irritating the firearms meister.
Her partnership with Rune Arwald had refined her appreciation for finding humor wherever possible- especially if it came at the expense of another. After several less-than-amicable interactions, it seemed that the team had fallen into an unspoken agreement to annoy Rocton Barret as much as possible whenever possible, and she gladly dedicated herself to the cause even if the conflict had occurred mainly between him and Rune. If this was the end of the Rocton Barret Fanclub, the several weeks it had run had provided more than enough bountiful material to laugh over with the blue-haired meister to make it worthwhile. Rune likely would have joined in on an expedition or two to see the action firsthand had she not convinced him that by now Rocton likely would be able to identify him by scent and footfall- "The douchebag approacheth!" She had her fill of scandal and social upheaval, as well as successfully goading Rocton, it seemed a good time to call it quits. The bear finally bit back after their constant prodding; best to run with their wounds before it decided on a more thorough mauling.
However, Yuu's dramatic middle finger to possibly the worst person in the school to fuck with erased any chance of cutting their losses. At that point it became more terrifying than it was funny, for if he was willing to spring restraining orders on more than a hundred classmates with ease, she was too paralyzed with fear to imagine what a true stomping out would be like. "What was that for?!" she demanded in a hoarse voice as he returned to podium, but he simply walked back to the overturned table without answering. She tried to follow him for want of something to do besides pacing back and forth or staring dumbly at the sobbing girls, though his bodyguard stood in her way. Eva threw her hands up in exasperation, and had no choice but to leave him his space to think. Yuu was clearly incapacitated, but she, the resident spin doctor, could not sit by idly. It was her duty to buy him time, and he needed it badly.
"What are you all so sad for?" she asked loudly. "That was the hottest thing that ever happened. Senpai noticed us, and you're acting like it's the end of the world? Are you crazy?" Several more heads turned as if to silently rebuke her for choosing the worst opportunity to crack that joke. "Oh come on, he took the time and effort to find out who we were and to go on the P.A. system and personally deliver a message. He addressed something to us, okay. Just imagine him sneaking into the room and just calmly delivering that speech like it was nothing. It's so- Augh!" Eva clenched her fists and squeezed her eyes shut as though she were too overwhelmed to continue formulating coherent thought. "It's just so damn hot! You really think he's going to stop all of us hundred plus people from going to classes? Nooo way, this is his way of acknowledging we even exist."

He quirked an amused brow once more, further interested at where the development was growing towards. Seeing how grim this man of arrogance and flippancy became from just one bad day, there's no way he could turn this one down. Especially the Hanfu-donning prima was already hysterical of the events happening.
"Being Yuu, I suppose. Though, what's done is done, Eva. Time to face the music," Sai responded rather smoothly for his contemporary employer with arms crossed before addressing the flamboyancy incarnate, "Physical force, Yuu? Well... You definitely have me interested, Mr. President. Though on the matter of the man himself... I wouldn't be very sure if I could handle him, I don't have enough info on him! I can't make clear guarantees, at least."
His expression darkened slightly over the quirked grin, giving him a sardonic-like appeal to accentuate and appear believable. Sai's arms fell to his sides, releasing the aura, as if carefully streaming away from his person. Nonchalantly, he stared at the two with a rather blank expression. Quite contrasting his earlier facade, as if to signal he was already switching to a more serious stance.
"And that is to say, I'm sure that you both know, we'd better hurry up and find Barret. So let's get go--"
Cut off, politics continued to play as Evangeline addressed the fearful flock of humanoid sheep, causing him to roll his eyes at each word. There was no time for this.
"I'm going on ahead to find Barret," the meister muttered towards Yuu, "I'll call you if I find him. And vice versa."
Silently and nimbly as the general attention focused on the dramatic performer, Sai disappeared through the entrance. Leaving nothing behind in a similar manner of shadows receding.

The response to her efforts to convince them that they had just been given his indirect blessing varied from apathetic to downright hostile. It was quite a preposterous interpretation to offer to them, though Eva had been banking on their boundless infatuation for him to lead them to grasp at whatever straws she could come up with. The silence, punctuated by soft sobbing, was embarrassing. The lieutenant strained to the side to look for a sign from President Yuu that he had a solution that didn't involve the immediate dissolution of the club, but there was no such indication. He remained shell-shocked, with his hands digging deep into his bright pink hair. Realized that trying to piss off Rocton Barret was a terrible idea, had he? It was too late to take back his defiant gesture now, and she doubted that he would ever deign to grovel for mercy, not even if he had floated down a stream of the girls' tears straight to the firearm meister's feet. They were all equally implicated in the harassment and invasion of privacy charges, and as long as they continued to act as a group perhaps there could be a way out of this.
"Come on, do you really think he could enforce a restraining order on all of us?" she said, entreating the flock one last time. "That would mean more than a hundred people would be missing from class. The school staff would flip shit over that, and can you even imagine how pissed your parents would be if that really happened? It's too ridiculous to even try to take seriously, that's how you know he's not actually going to make it happen. I can't believe I actually fell for that for a moment." Desperate people reached desperate conclusions, and the logic of this alternate explanation was sound, at least seemed to be when she said it aloud. It didn't matter at all that the girls' fantasies were built on assuming that Mr. Barret was more than willing to pull outrageous stunts like these. This was reality, where rules and common sense applied.
"What, so we're supposed to just go to class like this whole lawyer thing never happened?"
"That's what I'm saying! And it's not even like we're trying to take his bluff, because that's not what it is in the first place."
"But the school knows about the club!"
"When 150 girls all ditch class together the day after news about a Rocton Barret Fan Club hits, they're all gonna know exactly who's a club member. Show up like nothing ever happened, and just act like you don't know anything."
"And the person who did this?!" "We can't just let them get away!" "How could they do this to us? They need to be punished!"
"What did we form this club for, don't you all remember? To take care of one another. That's what Yuu said, and this means that whoever tries to mess with us has all the other members to deal with, and if it's one of you I hope you have the sense to fess up right now before we beat it out of you."
"What? One of us?!" "Well obviously it could be- who else could have gotten that track?" "But why?" "Doesn't matter, that bitch is gonna pay." "Shows you to try to start shit with us!"
"So that's it, we all come in to class tomorrow. All of us. And if you're responsible for that stunt today, you better sleep with one eye open."
"Hello? Trisha? You heard about what happened?"
"The song? Obviously yeah, the whole school did."
"No, even better. What was on the PA afterward."
"He knows."
"He knows."
"I wanna kiss whoever it was that did it, because those bitches deserved it."
"What? I thought you'd know or something. That's why I called in the first place."
"Huh? What? I'd never implement the plan without going over it with the club council, what are you talking about? This does bring up an interesting opportunity though."
"We were divided before on whether or not to actually do it. And someone already went and carried it out for us."
"Exactly. So there goes the hard part. Whatever else happens, it'll be pinned on the person who started it all. I don't know who, but I'm not surprised at all that they came up with the same idea. Goes to show you those RBFC girls aren't as big as they think they are. Treat people like shit to get to the top and there's gonna be people ready to tear you down."
"Ashley wouldn't disapprove of something like this, would he?"
"We would never do anything that might hurt Ashley Shaw! Ever! We're not the ones who fire the first shot, so the best thing is to just take full advantage of this and end them. For good."
"We're doing this in honor of Ashley."
"That's right. Rocton was his partner, and that connects those RBFC psychos to him. It's wrong for that association to even exist! They're tainting his name with their crazy, disrespectful behavior! It's disgusting to think about it."
"I'll let everyone else know. Tomorrow's the day RBFC and Yuu Kaneko go down."

Vespera had been sitting in the room, utterly speechless at this turn of events. The possibility of meeting Rocton had flown out the window! She finally starts to show some interest in the person this club follows, and just like that she gets shut down! Yuu, on the other hand, seemed far from speechless. He looked absolutely livid, but it was hard to tell what he was saying to Sai, so she could get no confirmation of what was going through his mind. Damage control had been ordered quite clearly, but what could be done about this? Just as despair started to creep in, she heard Eva speak up again.
"Come on, do you really think he could enforce a restraining order on all of us? That would mean more than a hundred people would be missing from class. The school staff would flip shit over that, and can you even imagine how pissed your parents would be if that really happened? It's too ridiculous to even try to take seriously, that's how you know he's not actually going to make it happen. I can't believe I actually fell for that for a moment."
The Demon Staff hadn't even considered her mother's reaction to such a thing! She'd have someone dead within 24 hours just by glaring at them! Vespera was a good girl because she knew her mother's wrath was not to be incurred. That attitude was something she carried to Shibusen, because she was certain that word could reach all the way home, and a swift retribution would follow. Her mother was certainly easy to get along with, after all she let her dye her hair blue at such a young age, but when she did something wrong? Hoo boy. No physical punishment was ever dealt, she'd come up with far more sinister punishments. The worst of which was cutting off her iTunes account for a week! There was nothing worse! If this reached her. oh god, what would she do?!
"I really hope you're right, Eva...! My mum would obliterate me!" she said in a panicked state. She was trying her best to remain calm, but what would happen if this went through?! Her mother would likely cut off her music accounts for a YEAR if this was real! Such a thing could not happen! She'd go absolutely bonkers!
