Ashley hadn't even been in this place a day yet, but she remembered passing by this house. The way it intrigued her curiosity was foreign to her. In simple words she really liked it. Weather it was truly a house or not was unknown to her. It was beside a near a cemetery though, and that meant it just had a feel to it. A feel she loved even more with the moon above and the mist rolling in. The moment she saw the truck leave, she armed herself with her black messenger bag in all it's old worn glory and the things that almost never left it's inside. It had taken her awhile to get here, the sun had gone down and the moon was past mid-sky. The looks of the sky meant it was somewhere past twelve in the morning. Ashley was in front of the building now, tingles itching down her back. Her fingers twitched her anxiety to get it down on paper. It was perfect in every detail, and a strange grin crept over her face as she gave a small chuckle. Ashley spun in a circle with her hands out to the sides. Dust swirled up around her and she started to make a weird giggling cough. Bouncing over to the other side of the street she settled down right across from the door. Ashley kept her eyes on the house, her eyes raping every inch of it. Devouring the house with her senses, the feel that she knew this place gave off. Every inch was deliciously perfect. Her hands expertly pulled out her black hardcover sketch book, and her much trusted mechanical pencil. Ashley set the cool cover on her the bare part of her legs, flipping through graphite covered pages. Than there it was the blank page that was soon to hold this perfect picture on paper. She almost drool like a starving idiot over food. Ashley looked up at the building, pulling her ski goggles to sit upon then top of her head. It seemed even better now that nothing stood between her eyes and her desire. With a few clicks she was sketching away, she knew she had to keep the picture in her head perfect. The moon had hours left in the sky but she needed to finish this before the sun rose. I wonder what it looks like on the inside.

A uneven tapping sound echoed up the street. From the direction of student housing came a boy, around 17, wearing a dark jacket and a gray fedora. His brown ponytail bounced as he ran, jumping from rooftop to rooftop. He appeared distracted, staring off into the distance.
This proved to be rather unwise. As the rooftops ended, and he jumped again, he suddenly discovered that the Patchwork Lab's Roof was not close enough to jump to.
Bran tumbled off the roof, his right arm flashing, and returning to human shape shortly before he hit the ground. He lay a few feet away from Ashley.
After catching his breath, he shakily stood up, and dusted himself off, straightening his fedora, and looked up at the lab. He stared at it, then nodded, looking around at the his other surroundings. as he completed his turn, he saw Ashley.
He looked surprised to see her, and stared for a moment, nonplussed. After a minute, he seems to make up his mind, and sticks out his hand.
"My name is Bran. Sorry for startling you, I was.. practicing, and didn't realize I had run further than I thought. What are you drawing?"
He seems a a bit awkward, and has an expression that seems to indicate he's more worried about her screaming for help than answering.

It was coming along well, it really was as perfect as she thought. There was graphite smeared on her hands, and on her cheeks. Along her upper arm where she had slapped bugs away. It was lovely and quiet around here, she would come back here again. She knew that much, but she didn't need to know anything right now. The only thing that mattered was getting this little slice of her world down on paper. Into a whole new world, a world of shades, graphite, and smears. She hadn't been paying enough attention to what was around her really. Yet the sound of something falling and breaking her peace awoke her from the trance.
There in front of her the man fell. Missing what she supposed was the roof across the street from her. How in the world he managed that she did not know. Did it matter though, in all reality as he stood before her he was rather slow. Taking lifetimes to looks at her, if she was an enemy she could have attacked him and caught him by surprise. Ashley glared at him as he stuck his hand out towards her. Like a wounded animal she growled and swiped at his hand with her sharp nails. “Don't touch me with you filth ridden hands.” She hissed.
Ashley pointed at the building behind him,”I'm drawing that.” She growled.”And you in my way!” With a dark scowl she watched him, waiting for him to move so she could keep drawing. He was in the way of the part she was working on. It pissed her off really, to be bothered while drawing with such short time. Needing every second of the time she had, so fate drops this idiot on her. This lower life form that she had no time for. Just fucking great!

Bran's vauguely amicable look inmediately vanishes, replaced by a cold, angry stare. He looks down at her, and slowly moves to the side, his hands in his pockets. He glares down at her again.
"Filthy, hmm?"
He flexes one hand, then whips it forward. As it flies toward Ashley, taking advantage of her lack of attention, it shifts into a broad, serrated spear head. It stops, the very tip piercing her skin on her neck, letting miniscule bead of blood form.
"I think you should watch your tongue. I don't much appreciate being randomly insulted."
He looks at her eyes as he says this, and a bead of sweat is forming on his brow. His face looks a bit red. He is breathing heavier, and his left fist is clenched, knuckles in his leg. His arm is shaking slightly.
He lets out a deep breath, and backs off. He turns, and looks at the house. After a second, he looks over his shoulder, then walks up to the door and knocks. As he does so, his still transformed arm becomes stuck in the door. He grunts, and pulls on it, attempting to pull it out of the thick wood.

“Random insult my bloody ass.” Ashley muttered,”The human hand is very filthy indeed, and I don't know where his has been.” Ashley watched him walk to the door. Not even bothering with the blood on her neck. It was a small prick, less than a thorn bush could do to her. She glared as he walked up to the building. This was no hour to wake somebody up, and whoever was inside would not be happy at all.
Ashley shook her head and began working on the last parts of what she needed to finish. She mumbled and cursed as she finished up. Now that she was done though it looked really good, Ashley looked up to see the man seemed to have his hand inside the door. He ruined the building! Quickly Ashley used a can of cheap hairspray to spray on her drawing to freeze the graphite in place, and packed her bag. Ashley slung it over her shoulder as she ran up to the door. “It's late you shouldn't wake people up you know,” Ashley scolded the man.
“Now you have your arm stuck in a door, that's what you get.” She muttered as she crossed her arms. Really now just how stupid could you be to walk up to a house like this, than get your hand stuck in it?

Bran slowly yanked his hand out of the door. He stood still, his shoulders shaking slightly. He seemed to be trying to control himself. At Ashley's comment, he made a sort of strangled, choking noise, then stood up straight. He looked around at The girl behind him.
His face was calm, and emotionless. His eyes, however, burned with a unholy anger. He turned fully, and brought his arm up, looking at it with a sort of curiosity. Without turning his head, he brought the blade across, slashing at Ashley's nose, just deep enough to leave a stining cut.
Without looking back to see what he had done, Bran jumped onto the nearest rooftop, scrambling up the building extremely quickly, and yelled behind him, as he dashed away over the rooftops, "Come on then, let's see what you're nade of, hmm?"
As Bran runs quickly over the rooftops, listening for the sound of pursuit, he growls and mutters to himself, his forhead dripping sweat. He seems deeply angry, and his spear arm was literally shaking with supressed rage. He was rather nervous, however. He hadn't meant to slash at her... The anger clouded his judgement. Well, he had better focus on the possible fight...
