An exhausting day. An exhausting evening. Ishida Sai slowly trudged past people as he was returning back for the night. The workload was exhausting. Not that it forced him to work harder in a sense. Rather, dealing with the eccentricity of Geoffrey and his store. The continuous shifting events wore on Sai's nerves from time to time. Yet, he wasn't in any position to complain about it at the moment.
Regardless of the stresses of work, the usual visit to Deathbucks made it bearable. Especially when people-watching through its store window aimlessly. Yet, the caffeine intake revived that stress just a bit as his brow furrowed in frustration. His eyes blinked as it surveyed around the gradually darkening environment, with the sun already appearing to be slumbering...
"...I stayed there too long," the meister muttered at his observations.
A sigh escaped his lips. He was close towards the dorms, yet despite it was evident he has to go... The boy did not even feel following it for once. Taking note of a bench in the middle of the cobblestoned path, he resigned himself onto its wooden structure as he sat on it. The creaking from his weight could be audibly heard. Yet, he didn't take too much heed of its rusty age.
Ishida Sai just simply sat there as he looked up at the sky...

Mocha walked around in the dying embers of the day. She held a thermal cup filled emitting the sweet scent of herbal tea. She closed her eyes and breathed in the lovely scent that meant it would soon be time to sleep. Like always used too before she went to sleep she would take a little walk with a cup of tea. Her movements were tired and carefree, she seemed a little more relaxed than she normally did. That was until she spotted another living human. He was sitting on a bench watching the sky. He seemed tired and stressed. So Mocha quietly made her way over to him.
“A-are you al-alright?” The quiet girl asked when she had reached the bench. She blinked her large, round red eyes giving her a deer in the headlights look. Her thin fingers gripped the metal cup so so hard that her knuckles were turning white. Mocha's arms were pulled in tight to her side. Her knees were pulled in tight to each other as she fearfully watched the boy a waiting a reaction.
Mocha could count the ways this could go wrong in her mind. She wanted it to go alright, and she wanted to make this stressed boy smile even if it was only a small humored smirk. If he relaxed a bit she thought she could make his day a little better. She tried to smile to break the ice a bit but she probably looked more awkward than a happy go-to girl she used to be.

“A-are you al-alright?”
Sai blinked at the sudden monologue, another result of his disregarding his own Soul Perception ability. For that one split-second it was all to complete darkness and then back to the dim light of the setting sun in the sky from his blinking. He looked down to verify the owner of the voice. A girl. A stick-figure almost judging by how fragile she appeared. Yet, he almost jumped at how close to him she appeared with such huge serious eyes and how bizarre they appeared when they were on almost "hyper" focus on his face.
"What the fu--"
The meister jolted in response, and found himself falling onto the cobblestoned pavement in surprise, soundly. A painful hiss escaped his teeth as his hands rubbed the back of his head painfully.
"Ow... Dammit."
Looking up, the same girl had her knees together wrapped by her scrawny arms covered by the sleeves of her sweater. It was from her choice of clothing that emphasized her fragility in body structure, seeing that it greatly contrasted it.
"...Can I help you...?" the Oriental individual was able to muster out a question after his two less savory greetings.
He started to get onto his feet as his hands dusted off the back of his pants and on the knees. A form of curiosity started to bloom as his eyes looked up at the newcomer girl.
"You wouldn't be a student, would you...?"
That was his first personal question towards her... One that is very well justified by her appearance. Seeing that an average Shibusen student like her has a high probability in being placed in a NOT class... Though he wasn't so sure...

As the boy responded with falling on the ground, Mocha naturally jumped back in fear her large eyes becoming watery in fear of a lash back at what she had caused. “I'm s-so Sorry.” She mumbled with her Skippy voice. She thought she would cry and she knew she shouldn't have done anything. Mocha held her tea close to her face, partially hiding behind it. She hadn't meant to cause anyone harm, and his response was less than kind.
“Yes, I'm a s-student here.” Her stuttering becoming worse in her fear. She took a careful step back. “I'm r-really sorry, I'll le-leave if you want m-me too. “ Mocha offered trying not to make the situation any worse. Maybe she should have just stayed inside that day. Watch some T.V and fall asleep on her couch. She didn't have much to do as a student, and she should have took the lazy day to heart. Sit in her room going commando, eating whatever she wanted, and watching action movies.
He seemed so much bigger than her now that she got a good look at him. If he really wanted to he could pick her up and throw her. It wouldn't be hard for anyone to hurt her really, but she could notice the muscles. He wasn't ripped but he looked like he could still snap her in half. This revelation only made her pull into her self more, peering fearfully from behind her bangs that now hid most of her face.

He frowned at the now-apprehensive female, with her ever so near-to-crying eyes. A sigh escaped his person. Not so much out of frustration as it seemed, but one that is more geared on something to reestablish another side of himself. As if to press on a restart button on this whole meeting.
“Yes, I'm a s-student here.”
"That verifies it," a thought jutted out in his mind, "A NOT class, I guess..."
Sai appeared to be in some thought, taking into consideration of the new information he has just received. Though parts of himself did feel otherwise of this.
“I'm r-really sorry, I'll le-leave if you want m-me too."
His eyes looked at her disapprovingly. Her apprehension and fragile figure was something... Something that just didn't fit in right as a student of Shibusen. NOT or EAT in either cases. Strength was pre-dominant in this school, despite it didn't seem like it. And she definitely needed a lot. A huge emphasis on "a lot".
"You shouldn't be scared of me," the meister plainly spoke to her, a tad blunt in tone, "I don't have any interest in hurting people, honestly..."
He quirked an eyebrow and his pair of lisp to one side emphasizing a more curious appearance, "So what's your name? I'm Ishida Sai from Japan."
The same Ishida Sai extended a callused hand for a handshake. A rugged hand with a scar from a stab in past conflicts. Yet, it offered itself as a bit of closure and grudging friendship, despite it contrasting itself.

He sighed again. Was sighing a bad sign? She didn't know, it was different with every person and she was more confused than anything. She was guessing it was pretty bad as he was frowning. Frowning wasn't usually pretty good. It was a sign of discontent and that wasn't god. Mocha had come to make him happy, but it seemed she had just made very everything worse. Mocha bit down on her lip, but loosened up a bit. She should have never come over here, what had she been thinking?
His look wasn't very approving and his tone was blunt. It's not like she meant to scare him! She let out a loud huff. “I-i didn't m-mean too! Yo-you just loo-looked really st-stressed!” Her voice was loud and she did sound a tad irritated. Her voice still broke and shook though. It wasn't that she was shy, well of course she was, but her voice was just that way.
He held out his hand but Mocha didn't want to touch it. He wasn't being very nice, and sure she wanted to make others happy but if you weren't gonna be nice she wouldn't want to be nice either. It's not like she didn't have a backbone, she could still stand up for herself.

"Stressed...?" an inquisitive eyebrow replaced the quirked one.
He just stood there, thinking upon it. Almost as if it didn't register right away... His eyes blinked again, as if cashing in the dollar "stressed" into his brain.
"Stressed," Sai muttered under his breath, "...Yeah, something like that. Just your usual day, I guess..."
The boy shrugged at her, dismissing that fact away. There was an obscure strangeness between the two, being that this would be a first random encounter...
A tad sheepish in smile, "Thanks for worrying about me. But this is just a normal every day occurrence, anyway... So, what brings you around these parts...?"
He brought his arms together, folding them as he awaited her answer. A strange girl, regardless. Yet, it seemed as if she didn't mean any harm. That was good enough for him.
"Oh... And what's your name, really? I don't want to have to call you child every time, you know?" there was a slight teasing tone in his voice.
A rarity. For an individual who keeps to himself solemnly, it must've been the caffeine and the recent night air in the environment. The sun has already set. It was slightly dark, yet bright from the streetlights illuminating the area.
"Though, are you a Weapon? Meister?"

Mocha looked at him funny, “My na-name is Mocha, And in n-no wa-way am I a Ch-child.” Mocha huffed again. The night air was sweat and dry from the desert. He was a strange man, his attitude confused Mocha. She didn't care much, and she happily sat down on the bench.
“I came here because it was the last place I had to go.” Mocha told him plainly. She could easily lie but what would be the point of that? It was true she had no where else to go, but it wasn't the whole truth. She was also here to prove her brother wrong. She was gonna prove she was better than him and be strong. She was gonna get stronger and make him regret everything he said. Besides she couldn't let an innocent person die again. Never again would she be weak enough to let a person die protecting her.
“I-I'm a Meister, why?” She asked softly. She didn't find much importance in her status. Mocha hummed for a second before asking him. “What about y-you?” It was a simple question, the same he asked her. She didn't think it mattered but she was here and she might as well talk.

"Hrm. I see," Sai spoke slowly with a slight grin on his face as he watched the girl become a tad displeased of his words.
Resigning, he found himself sitting next to the girl on the bench. The wooden creation creaked again under his weight, again reestablishing its aged self. Ignoring and making himself comfortable, the teenager crossed one leg on top of the knee leisurely. There was a pregnant silence after listening what she had to say..
Last place to go...? Curiosity rose again. Yet, it was morbid compared to its counterpart. Regardless of the emotion, the meister kept his mouth shut, sealing away any questions pointing towards it. As well as maintaining the privacy of his fellow student.
"Meister," he answered her without so much of a flair in it, "I've been here doing some stuff. Not so much and all."
He couldn't help, but smile at his own little lie. The conflict with Demon Bike Wyrd and Pariah for one, wasn't something that qualifies as "not so much and all". Especially the his own encounter with some of the Traitors as well as the Zoo. And to boot, Iris Walker from the Exorcists...
Sai slowly caressed the scar on his right hand, remembering those times.
"You'd want to start bulking up or something," he continued, "Because, you won't survive for long, I'll tell you that much. Though, I won't know for sure... Until you took on a mission."
And then ending with a more depressing tone, "...Or in a fight."

There was a silence between them. The only sound was from the bench complaining under Sai's weight. Mocha calmly tipped the cup to her lips and drank her tea. It was definitely doing its job of making her tired, and she had to fight back a yawn. The sun was shrinking far away and the night was taking over. Her fingers tapped softly against the warm metal cup. "Meister," His voice broke the silence and she looked over at him. A little smile broke onto his lips, and she found herself doubting him just a little. It turned in her stomach as she turned his words in her mind.
She couldn't really say she was in the right to doubt him. She wasn't telling much truth here herself. The question was if it mattered. People lied constantly, always blinded by their own greed in this world. They all go after what they want and they forget about the people they step on and stab in the back. Eventually they will all begin to start believing their own lies and live in a fantasy, but it didn't matter. That's just how the world was.
Mocha blinked at him slightly surprised as he brought up her stature. She knew it would only have been a matter of time. She looked forward again though, and pulled her knees to her chest. Her heels pulled close to her, so she turned into a ball. She tucked her bottle between her stomach and settled her chin on her knees. She looked forward her eyes half closed and slightly blurred. Mocha could still remember having to protect herself at school, wrestling with her big brothers and friends. From day one she had been taught to fight. Mocha had never been strong, but she was quick and light. She was taught to use her small size against her larger and bulkier enemies.
“Y-you be surprised,” Mocha mumbled. “Just because I'm sm-small, doesn't me-an I can't fight.” Mocha spoke, her voice had a calm nature in it. She still stuttered and stumbled, it was noticeable. It didn't matter though. She still told him exactly what she needed too. When your tiny, you can have some advantages.

“Y-you be surprised. Just because I'm sm-small, doesn't me-an I can't fight.”
He stifled back laughter at her indignant response uttered through a mutter. She had a strong resemblance to a mere child in all of her mannerisms and appearances. The male meister shrugged in return and sighed, perhaps something reminiscent to pure relief. It was pure irony in this matter. Having combated against many taller than him by a few feet, has been a normal for the teenager who used to prowl across the Japanese streets.
Agreeing with the smaller and fragile female peer, "Point taken. I'm more or less the same at most times back at home. Though still, if you stay as you are right now, you might not last so long."
Sai shrugged again, leaving up to her devices to figure out how to respond to his little monologue. He looked around, seemingly giving a lazy scan around his surroundings. Though, on the other hand, the memories of the Traitors was still prevalent in his head. Who knew if there were some lurking around to begin with...?
Then something came up on his thoughts. It would be a free day, again, with an obligation to visit Iris for the twin blades... The memories flashed in front of his eyes once more. The blood.
...That blood. Oh that scarlet liquid--
The meister shook his head furiously, regaining his consciousness from the subconscious, coming back to the dark night. He blinked. It was quiet, though the crickets started chirping in the middle of the darkness. Then, there was Mocha...
"Sorry... I was thinking about something," Sai muttered apologetically, "It was obviously weird. Sorry."
The boy sighed, a tad frustrated, as he was confused by this cluster of memories. It was at best alien, yet at the same time, familiar. The two entities in the vision were unknown, but he could tell the identity of one. Though, not the other...
Getting up from the seat, with the caffeine rush dying down, "I'd better get going. I got work tomorrow."
He turned around facing her with something close to a smirk, "It was nice meeting you, Mocha. You'd better get going too or the Traitors might come to get ya."
"See ya..."
Turning, he went off his way towards the dorms while giving her a slight wave in farewell... OOC: Sorry for ending it here... But we can pick up later through a mission or the class. If it's fine with you.

Mocha refused to dignify those words with a response. She turned her head away from him, in mock anger. She knew it wasn't convincing but it was fine for her. When her scarlet eyes returned to look at him he was starring off somewhere else. He was quiet, oh so quiet. It scared her a little and she shivered. They ran down her spin like tiptoeing mice, her brother got quiet when he was angry. He could be frightening to extremes when he was angry. It almost made her want to run and hide under a bed as she often did when her brother got angry.
Under a bed, yes that was her sanctuary. Whenever she felt guilty, scared, sad, angry, or even just tired, she often crawled under a bed. She fit comfortable on her belly, and sometimes laid on her back and traced the patterns of the wood. If it was a tall bed with the fabric running down on the side she would even curl up in a ball and hide there until somebody cared enough to come get her.
Than he got up, after an apology. He walked away, leaving behind a small confused girl. She watched after him. “T-traitors?” She was more than confused, she was was suffering a utter collapse of though process. She got up slowly and watched him disappear, before giving out a soft whimper. She began to slowly walk back to her dorm room. Maybe some cartoons would help her.
