STRICTLY NON-CANON
Ah, the daybreak. The sun comes out of hiding for another day; timid at first, but as more and more of this glorious planet is bathed in its glorious incandescent glow, it grows more bold. The blazing ball of fire in the sky is softly singing the song of life; enticing new beings to spring into existance. Yet at the same time it sings the song of sorrow, and death; its rays comforting those somehow weary of seeing the sun; its light putting the weak and old and sick to sleep. All the while it hides the signs of its own age; all the while it masks the alacrity at which the time for its own song of sorrow is approaching...

Tomorrow, you will die.
The sun is dying; having burned itself out. In approximately twenty-four hours, it will balloon into a red giant, swallowing Mercury, Venus and then the Earth with it. Today is the last day. There is no hope for humanity. The stellaferous period as we know it has ended: the solar system will go cold, and life will cease. Many have committed suicides, to spite whatever god that would allow this to happen. The streets are littered with corpses, and the blood flows more wantonly than the rivers, which have since burst their banks and flooded many cities such as London and Vienna. The Netherlands is no more. The only respite is in the forests, where many camps have been set up in a cult-like fashion.
Today is the last day.
What will you do?
