CHARACTER NAME: Kimiko Senjougahara
RACE: Magical Animal
CLASS: Demon Weapon
ADVANCED CLASS: NA
AGE: 20
GENDER: Female
APPEARANCE:
human form
Kimiko is in all appearances a pure snow flake, drifting through the wind in a dim world, her long, silky smooth hair easily flows to her waist to resemble the mountain peak of an icy mountain. The white purity of it easily reflects the light to give it the appearance of a dim glow in certain lightings while her twin cat ears adorn her head like two mountains in the winter time. The golden gaze she has is always captivating to say the least to those not used to such eyes on a humanoid, the slited pupils of a cat in a pool of brilliant gold is always a sight to see, even more so when they glow like a predator’s in the night.
In addition to her shinning hair and eyes, Kimiko also has a fair complexion for her skin. Showing no real signs of a tan or anything of the like it only adds onto the white theme that seems to have taken over her body, with the exception of her eyes being the only other color. Her figure is curved and well proportioned, nearly an hourglass figure in some aspects almost as if she was sculpted as a statue. Her muscles have a slight tone to them to show a small sign of her physical prowess, the way how she walks is sure and confident at times and others the lazy stroll of a cat. She is often seen wearing loose clothing and more often than not without any shoes to protect her feet, often commenting that despite the softness of her hands and feet they were naturally tougher than human skin, acting as if she was already wearing leather shoes or gloves from her genes. Standing at five foot six and weighing a hundred and thirty pounds she is certainly a sight for sore eyes with her unique appearance.
cat form
While Kimiko is most often seen in her human form in school and public, that is not her true form. Like all magical animals she is capable of transforming into a human, although her transformation is weaker in some aspects since she is not a true magical animal. Her real form is that of a sleek cat with golden eyes and silky white fur.
weapon form
The polar opposite of her true form is her demon form, a form built and created for one purpose and one purpose only, to destroy the enemies of whoever wields it. Like her true cat form this one is incredibly stable and takes the appearance of a deadly scythe. It has the signature curved blade of most scythes and stands at five feet eight inches tall. It has a bronze look to the majority of the metal and chains adorning it with a silver appearance for the blade, each end razor sharp to provide the most effective cutting area on the three foot blade. On the opposite end of the blade are five bronze looking arrow heads, or daggers looking decorations, each one just as sharp of the blade and spread out like the hands of a clock. Between the two lethal edges is what appears to be the tip of a crescent moon, circling a small orb that is capable of transforming into an eye if the demon weapon wishes.

LOYALTY: Shibusen
KEY ATTRIBUTES:
Strengths:
Intellectual Strategist – Kimiko has the brains, the looks, and the ability to be the captain or leader in her partnership with Miho; however she rarely puts it in action. Despite her lazy nature she has shown time and time again her high level of intelligence and mental power through battle strategies, tests, or games.
Bestial Ferocity – Due to the nature of Kimiko’s creation she has been blessed with attributes that are beyond that of normal humans. She has cat-like agility, sight, sense of smell and hearing that far surpass that of normal human beings.
Powerful Soul – Due to being the first generation of a special type of demon weapons Kimiko is already infused with the power of a witch’s soul, giving her the power to resonate with her own soul to perform attacks. She is capable of using any ability in any form of hers with more efficiency and power than a normal demon scythe, allowing her to fight on her own should the situation call for it.
Weaknesses:
High Pitch Sounds – With her sensitive hearing Kimiko is weak against high pitched sounds, loud enough they are capable of damaging her hearing and become a large distraction when she does even the most simple of tasks.
Endurance – Kimiko’s body isn’t used to hard labor and exerting herself, as such when she is in any form but weapon form she doesn’t have the endurance as other people in drawn out combat where she has to go all out.
Instability- Kimiko’s biggest weakness is the fact that her soul, despite all appearances, is unstable. She was the first of her kind, the prototype that was created out of the ideas of a single witch and has yet to be refined or evolve. Her soul is incredibly weak to attacks that disrupt her own wavelength while in certain forms. In her humanoid form if she is hit with an attack of skilled or vetran/strong level in her human form she is forced into her cat form for a post, if hit in cat form she is stuck in it for a post. If she is hit with an epic attack the duration of her being stuck is increased to two posts. Due to the weapon form being the most stable of her forms it is excluded from this weakness.
PERSONALITY:
Kimiko is a cat to the core; both her actions and personality greatly resemble that of most felines from her actions when in front of other people and when she is alone. She is a clever yet lazy creature, preferring to lounge around all day and relax rather than doing homework. If she could she would get other people to do her job for her by either black mailing them or by trying to imitate the “cute neko” ideology that has set into the minds of the majority of the population. After all, who could say no to a cute girl with cat ears flat against her head, big watery eyes of gold and a small pout? In addition to the lazy yet intellectual traits of the feline species she has also shown to be rather caring about other people that she likes, often trying to be helpful to them if it doesn’t require her to go too far out of her way or even doing something hard on their behalf if she likes them enough. The only other times that she actually puts effort into something is in combat where she generally has to keep an eye open to help out her meister should Miho require a split second decision on her end.
HISTORY:
Life for Kimiko didn’t start out at birth as the majority of human creatures, instead her life was decided years before she was brought into this world. The one who decided on whether or not she would be brought into the world wasn’t fate, it wasn’t some god of a higher order, It wasn’t even by parents, it was all decided by one woman whose lust for power knew no bounds, a witch by the name of Angelica. For decades Angelica lived like a typical witch, keeping to herself as she hid from the world in order to conduct her own private experiments. She wanted power, to surpass all other witches and bring about a weapon that could destroy all who opposed them. The meisters and their demon weapons, weapons that witches themselves had first created, were one of the biggest obstacles in her eyes. They held the advantage due to it simply being two against one unless a witch was unable to separate them from each other. However if they could create a weapon that could surpass that of the ones the meisters wielded than the witches would be unstoppable.
All for the sake of her goal she slowly gathered information over the years, doing research and experiments on normal human souls. She couldn’t risk trying to create a demon weapon all by herself, if she did the blind experiments could kill her or make her an outcast by the witch society by killing one of her own. Angelica proceeded carefully with her goals, collecting rumors and legends hundreds of years old as she tried to track down one of the fragments of the Book of Eibon. It wouldn’t be until one hundred years after she had first set out on her mission that a whisper of a rumor would come to her, a story of how when Arachne was betrayed and forced to split her soul apart that Mosquito had attempted to save her research journal knowing that everyone who sought out to hunt her down would either attempt to claim it, or destroy it. Throughout the ages the journal had disappeared, had changed hands and disappeared into the sea of time as nothing more than a mere children’s book as part of its magic protection.
Eventually by checking every rumor, myth, or legend about it she found herself looking into the Roanoke Colony, a colony that disappeared hundreds of years ago with no knowledge of what happened to the inhabitants. There had been no signs of the colony being attacked, of food shortages, nothing to indicate a reason as to why it had been abandoned. The only clue that had been left was the name of an island carved into a tree, something that the villagers had been told to do should they ever abandon the town. Put their destination in the tree so that they could be followed, only a mysterious storm prevented help from ever going back and searching the island for them. It was a mysterious incident, a type that was bound to have some magic involved. Knowing that if she ever wanted to reach her goals she would have to take such uncertain tasks upon herself she set out to investigate what had happened, hoping to find some kind of clue as to what had truly happened.
Reaching the site of the old colony Angelica found herself standing before the famous tree, the words “CROATOAN” still carved into the trunk of the tree. There were no signs of magical spells in the colony, not that there would be considering how long ago it had happened, however this tree was the only thing left that had a small clue as to what happened all those years ago. Reaching out she placed a single finger on the tree and engulfed it in flames, any secrets it may have held would soon be revealed in the unearthly fire. Not even five seconds after she had lit it on fire all of the flames were put out and the tree healed back any damage that was done to it, causing her to smile softly to herself. No colonist had been found along with no evidence of them ever reaching their destination, if there was ever one, and all that was left was a simple tree. A tree that turned the attention of any searchers towards an entirely new island to look for the truth, something she would do if she wanted to keep matters closed back in those days. By the time that anyone else had arrived on the island the magical deed was probably already done and all traces of magic was gone, consumed and kept locked away by the tree. Not even the witches that had looked into it had managed to find anything and had been fooled by the lies of the tree.
It took her seven days, three human sacrifices, and a complex ritual however Angelica had finally managed to tear down the magical barriers that had been used to create the tree and destroy it, revealing the treasure that lay within it. By some a series of coincidences and strange events she had found what she had sought, the journal that had been used in the creation of the first demon weapons. With the stepping stone for her plans now in her possession she withdrew from the world to do her experiments in private, using countless human souls as test subjects as she sought to continue the work that had been done before. Only unlike the original creator, she would not use the witch soul until she was fairly certain that it would result in a success. Being hunted down by her own kind was not something she was very keen on and would rather it happened without anyone knowing about it.
For years the body count grew, souls perished, and experiments continued as she tried to succeed in her goals. Typical human souls were weak and pathetic with the only strong ones being hard to find and obtain quietly. It wasn’t until she stumbled across a family of magical animals that an idea formed in her head, the idea of using their souls instead of humans. Magic cats were rumored to have nine lives or souls, and those whom could live through the centuries with pure blood could be as strong as some witches. Her hunt for strong humans had ended before it even started; instead her hunt for mythical creatures began. Over time she had managed to acquire and breed a small family of magical cats, keeping them imprisoned behind magic bars and forcing them to reproduce through various drugs. So that she could fuel her experiments with them acting as a replacement for witch souls.
At first it seemed as if the plan would work, the cats provided plenty of souls to fuel the experiments however eventually she would come to a standstill. The weapons she infused the souls into couldn’t handle the combination, even with the fickle nature of magic cats and their tendency to shape shift. It required the soul of a witch to make it capable of becoming both a weapon and a human, something that her predecessor undoubtedly knew already. However the possibility of using a magic animal in replacement to a human soul was no doubt there, they had souls more powerful than even a human and magic within them on par with a witch. If she could manage to create it than no doubt something wonderful could occur in the process.
So for three years she stalked her prey, waiting for a witch to make a mistake, waiting for a meister and demon blade to seek one out for the final soul, and when she saw her chance to strike she did. In a surprise attack she forces the two hunters to dodge into her fellow witch’s final spell before turning on her sister. Easily overpowering her in her weakened state and dragging her off to the lair without anyone knowing better, everyone assuming that the witch had simply killed them as she herself died in the process. With the final ingredient in the recipe for her own version of the demon weapon she went to work preparing the final test to see if her hypothesis was right or not.
On the night of the final experiment Angelica had brought out one of the father and more powerful of the magical cats to act as a sacrifice along with the witch. Her weapon stock had diminished due to the other experiments until the only thing she had left was a single scythe. During the ritual everything went according to plan, the witch soul had been reacting superbly with the magic cat’s. As the animal and witch were sacrificed their souls merged and descended down into the weapon, fusing with it in a burst of white light. The flash of light was so bright that it briefly blinded the witch she was forced to look away, and when she glanced back she was met with a pleasant suprise.
On the table was not a scythe or a baby human, instead there was a single kitten fur as white as snow. The witch’s soul that had been used had been in combination with the magical animal’s had successfully fused. Only time would prove how powerful her new weapon could grow to become, to see if there were any design flaws in it she could tweak and prepare for her next experiments, now there were so many possibilities for her to advance her research with the first one accomplished.
After her creation Kimiko would grow up in the world of witches with Angelica acting as her “mother”. She would never know how she had come to being born, how lives were ruined and sacrificed so that she could be crafted, she grew up in blissful ignorance. Unlike how most people would have expected her to be raised, she had a relatively happy life with the witch who she had viewed as a mother. Angelica played with her, told her stories, educated her and gave her a comfortable life in a lovely mansion secluded in woods. She had been blessed with a good life even though she was an experiment for one reason or another, it could have been because the witch Angelica knew that love and affection would provide the most loyal subject and improve results or out of some kind of true affection. Either way for sixteen years she had a happy life, obstacle courses were made for her to improve her physical strength, games to improve her mental powers while Angelica gave her subtle tests.
It was discovered once she began to develop her weapon abilities that she had a major flaw with her soul, it was weak against attacks that disrupted its wavelength if she was not in a stable form such as her weapon one. Other than that her education and combat development was better than what Angelica had expected out of what had once been considered a prototype weapon, Kimiko was showing that despite there being weaknesses in her creation and stability that it would only hamper her against certain opponents. Unfortunately it was likely to be opponents that she would have to face as a witch’s weapon.
As the years progressed and she reached the age of sixteen life as she knew it would be warped as questions and disaster strikes her peaceful life to the point that life as she had known it ended all together. Since she had the curiosity equal to a cat’s it was only natural that one day when the entire manor seemed to be running around busy with something that she would take the chance to head off towards the basement, to the locked door that she had always been forbidden to enter. With the cat like grace that she had been blessed with she picked the lock and slipped inside while Angelica had locked herself in the study, walking into the dark room before she could finally find the lights.
Turning them on Kimiko glanced around the room, at the cases of strange liquids and body parts, nothing that she had never seen before. She had grown up with a witch after all, this kind of lab was to be expected and she sighed softly at the discovery that the basement was nothing more than an ordinary lab. Walking around she would rummage through the piles of books and papers before taking Angelica’s research journal and sitting on the chair, thumbing through it as she hummed to herself. She could make sense of roughly half of it so far until she began to get to the sections mentioning the creation of a new demon weapon.
As she continued reading her eyes widened as she realized it was the journal of her creation and the purpose behind it. She had never been told about her parents or how she had come into Angelica’s care, even at a young age she was smart enough to know that there was no way that she could be the witch’s daughter. There were simply to many differences between them to allow such a thing, however she still viewed the woman as a kind person who must have taken her in when she was just a baby. While reading the truth of her being nothing but a weapon and project became clear as the manor shook from a massive explosion, forcing her gaze away from the cursed book towards the stairway as pure white flames surged down the steps towards the room. Dropping the book she ran over to a table and flipped it over knowing there was no time to close the door as she dived behind it, the flames impacting on the magical barrier that was placed around the room. It held up for several moments before it was destroyed under the force of the impact before her world turned to nothing but white until it all faded into darkness.
Two weeks later Kimiko would wake up in a hospital at death city, lying in bed while looking up at the ceiling. She had somehow ended up in the city after the explosion unharmed however unconscious for all that time. When asked what happened she did the smart thing to do, she lied through her teeth saying she couldn’t remember. Witches weren’t exactly loved in death city, or in the world in general, so she knew it would have to be one of those things to keep to herself no matter what happened now. She didn’t know where Angelica’s manor actually was, however with the memories of the journal she wasn’t sure if she wanted to. The person she had come to view as a mother had made her with the purpose of creating a weapon, however as she grew up she didn’t have a bad life… it left her with a sense of uncertainty about what to do about what all has happened.
So she settled for being placed into foster care, being put with a loving old couple to take care of her as she grew up. Once again she found herself living a relatively peaceful as time went by without any new information about her past raising up. Her combat skills were no longer needed nor a real need for an education leaving her to simply work during her days and relaxing when she had time off. It wouldn’t be until she was at the age of 19 that a real change could come about in her life when she met a young girl that seemed to have a troubled mind. Out of boredom and curiosity she approached the woman and started what would be the start of a partnership between them, with Kimiko moving out and in with her as her foster parents moved to a more suitable place for their age. During their time together they would bond and eventually enroll in the shibusen school while being placed in the NOT curriculum.
